I made 5 waypoints in NAV phase, they show up on the map. but they dont show up in the right side list? Any idea why? Thanks, null

You have been saving the targets? Have you set to "ATK" mode when you stored the target and then slaving to the target marked e.g. T01 or T02 etc? Just curious

As soon as I get in the front seat and set the TEDAC to TADS, the HMD is green and the TADS is in FLIR Mode, when I switch from FLIR to TV mode, its still green.

This happened to me today, I have only been in the front seat for about 6 days now training. Today was the 1st time I had the TADs up in FLIR mode and it wouldnt switch from Black Hot to White Hot? I just chalked it up as one of those flukes that cant be explained and left the sim. I dont have any proof of this of course, just chiming in.

OMG I have been struggling with this since I moved to the front seat over the weekend! I read this entire thread, and will have to read it again, one particular thing I haven't figured out and is not mentioned here is why does the TADS "TV" project as green on the HMD during the day? Before I take off (As Pilot) I always set the Left MPD to TADs video (As shown here) so I can see what the CPG is looking at. The annoyance is that whenever I get an RPM notice (or something like that) I get the Engine overlay (which is fine). If i want to get back to that same TADs video, I have to hey 3 buttons again. "VID" then "TADS"(R1) then "TADS" (T6). Is there a faster way to get this TADS back up every time so you dont have to mash 3 buttons every time? Yes, I know, dont over torque,,, besides that though, thanks.

its a valid point, and I would certainly welcome a method in which that could be done. They would have to implement more controls because as the list remains visible, it has its own layer of commands specifically for it when you press the switch in different directs as you are already aware of.

When you have George search for targets based on Pilots line of site, and he finds some and brings up an assorted list of targets, then you have him track one of those targets and then you have him fire on it and kill it, I then want to bring that list up again so I can select another one. Im not sure Im doing this right? My intent is to simply bring that list up again, am I supposed to simply go “Back Long” on the switch to “Repeat Previous Search”? Do I really want to have him search again? And if he does, will he search the same spot again on his own, or am I supposed to do something else to bring up that list? by the way, this is in the mode that I want to have to Consent before he fires. Virpil tech logged into my PC,, the short version is that I could see that the electric values when moving the RX left to right were only going from about 30% to 80ish%. Seems to me the electric values were higher on both sides at one point, for some reason they diminished. So he would up re-setting the min/max values to what they would now physically produce. Seems fine now. Poor mans fix instead of sending it back to replace the thumbstick I suppose.

Same goes for Rockets then I suppose. I was setting the Guns and Rockets to Auto Range before I took off so I wouldnt have to fiddle in the air. I was hoping to come in here and find a work around. Kinda difficult when your in the heat of battle and switching between Guns and Rockets to set Auto Range back and forth with weapons changes. I suppose the answer is to do without it in those scenarios huh?

I have VPC Constellation Alpha-R with a mini joystick on it that its RX axis that will only range fully (From Left to Right) about 20-80% while its RY Axis ranges fully from 0-100%. I have never used this thumb stick until now. I actually tried to map the thumbstick in DCS for the Apache, and DCS would only recognize the RY Axis, but wouldnt see the RX Axis? So I tried to recalibrate the grip in Virpil software, All other AXIS went full 0-100% except this RX Axis on the thumb stick. DCS now recognizes this Axis but it clearly does not work at 0-100%. Only about 20-80%. I would hate to have to loose the down time of sending this back and waiting for a return, is there anything else I can possibly do in case this is simply a software matter to resolve before I submit a ticket on it? OMG! Please ED,,, just give us our Trim Reset option please,, this is a simulator, not the real deal,, I dont think I can explain myself anymore. Too many people opposing it in here and dont understand that its already in use elsewhere, we just dont have it here and they dont understand the request. Im done commenting in here, I will just hope this gets the attention it deserves and those that dont want it dont have to have it. Good night!

That method requires you to hold that button in the entire time you are trying to settle out and do other things fast paced things AND you have no idea if the controls are actually centered unless you want to keep the controls indicator on (if you want the additional distraction. Trimmer reset in the other helos solve all of this instantly and without unnecessary headaches!
