  1. Thanks to everybody involved, was great fun!
  2. Fertig ja. Update nein.
  3. Or you buy this absolutely well made module that is one of the most enjoyable ones because it's a two seater. There is also the option to listen to the stuff on SoundCloud. Just my thoughts on this...
  4. Yeah and if you keep your altitude, don't wonder off and make the timing there will be no questions asked. So it is really just a minor thing in the whole process.
  5. CNATRA P-816 You get different information from interviews or e.g. the fighterpilotpodcast. It does not surprise me that a pilot makes his turns in the stack always at 30°: And yes the ADI in the Hornet is not correct (the last time i checked it).

    JHMCS!

Nice preview! We really need something like a Mission Data Card for all these settings, waypoints and similar. Setting these manually as a client will get old really fast.
  7. Good stuff Jabbers! (Two-minute turns and one-minute legs are normally used for the pattern in the marshal stack.)
  8. After releasing high drag bombs the Trigger Safety Bracket was stuck in the unsafe position. I used that hand for the mouse so I was not able to press the button for the Trigger safety on my stick. Noticed the problem because the HUD still showed the attack indications after the attack. I couldn't repeat the bug. BugreportViggen.trk
  9. SRS allows to enable "virtual radios". If enabled you have 3 radios in every modul. The F5's second one covers the frequencies you need for the red side.
  10. Yep it's a module specific problem. You could backup your results by posting a track and use the NATOPS to calculate the drag numbers for your configurations. This part of the hornet is still WIP and there are other deviations (training pod, CAP-9). Edit sniped ;)
  12. 1) yes, the beta is always there. Sometimes the release version and beta are on an equal number and therefore equal. 2) Switching from beta to release only takes a minute. Server owners are often choosing the most stable or better version.
  13. Sorry, but this is somehow comical. I enjoyed this little trip into a different view about aviation. Don't forget to put the flaps up ;) The hornet's flight computer will select optimum flaps during your maneuvers.
  14. +1
  15. You perform a gun defense to be a difficult target to hit. Fancy maneuvers won't help you too much. You have to move out of plane. How to do a "Guns D" is e.g. described by CNATRA:
  16. Slower speed -> higher AOA -> nose points a view degrees up -> you see the 10° line
  17. Ok, that makes more sense ;)
  18. I don't understand why you would turn at the same point. The runway is not moving away. Why don't fly on speed in the downwind? @Doum76, your number 2 looks right. I've never seen a different approach. Overhead Approach -> initial above pattern altitude when able -> overhead above pattern altitude -> level break -> descent to pattern altitude on the downwind -> start your 180 at pattern altitude If not effected by local procedures, you adjust your point at which you start the 180 to the wind like you do at the boat. as seen in the NATOPS Overhead at 29:00
  19. Amazing news, Cobra! Good luck with the last steps to release!
  21. Es gibt da nen Bug. Probier am besten Mal X und Y sowie A/A aus.
  22. Welcher Channel ist am Träger eingestellt und welche Einstellungen hast du im Flugzeug vorgenommen?
  23. Thank you for the update, Cobra!
  24. The M2k radar is on a FC3 level. The only difference is that the TDC can show the relation to a wp instead of the transmitter and that you have to press a button for iff. This thread is also for the hornet and not about the M2k radar.
