  1. Try not using the AFK, I suspect you have it set too high. No use having an automatic speed control set to 500 if you're trying to go slower than that.
  2. BVR and 30 mm Oerlikon, even AIM-120 if we would get a JA-37D. ;) If given the choise between a full fidelity J-35 and a FC3 JA-37 I would pick the 35. For those that think the 3D model of the JA-37 would be identical to the AJ-37, it's not, the JA is longer and have a (slightly) different tail, plus probably a lot of other minor differences.
  3. I would buy a JA-37 module even if it's a separate full price module, but unfortunately I doubt it will ever happen (some systems is still classified as they are used in the Gripen as well, that's another module I'd happily pay for btw).
  4. As my DCS didn't update yesterday (from latest beta) and it's the same build number as the new stable, I think it's the one that breaks the Viggen.
  5. Because it's the AJS-37, not the A-37 or AS-37. ;)
  6. So I wasn't imagining things then yesterday when I tried to land and reverse thrust didn't work. I didn't realize until it was too late because I had also lost sound while flying (first time that happens as far as I can remember). Looking forward to the fix! :)
  7. You can map the radar stick to a joystick though, that gave me some use of my Saitec AV8R joystick. :)
  8. I can confirm that the bug is still there with the latest patch. I tried to respawn in a online mission I hosted and it promptly crashed to desk (flying in Viggen - respawning in a different Viggen).
  9. I think that's a JA-37, not a AJ.
  10. Hmm, maybe this is the reason I can never get my wingmans to attack in the Normandie ship-strike quick mission? I had put it down to me using the radio incorrectly, but I _think_ they respond verbally to my command.
  11. Oh, PostMord strikes again?
  12. I was looking for your server yesterday, and I have read about the special SoW campaign and I would love to participate, but unfortunately I'm not able to join in on that one at the moment at least.
  13. Somehow flying the Viggen yesterday felt smoother then usual, can't explain exactly how or why, but it did. And I managed to kill 6 ships with 8 RB-15 divided on 4 take-offs. :p Light bug still present, but I finally found where to turn landing lights off (and set buttons for turning it on and off). I bought the F/A-18 just before release, but have only sat in the cockpit twice, on the ground. Too busy flying the Viggen and having fun! :) But I watched Wags F/A-18 startup video and had to snicker a little when he said it was easy to start up. :D
  14. Mk50/J34 also carried Sidewinders, gets my vote, because Sweden. :D
  15. Thanks! I was looking in all the wrong places then. Might have to do as you suggest and map a button for it.
  16. Is only hours flying off-line counted?
  17. I didn't notice it after DCS 2.5.2 Update 1, but now after Update 3 I have the same problem (Caucasus map), haven't tried it specifically on the Normandy map. Now if I could only find where to turn of the taxi light, other then retracting my gear, it wouldn't be too much of a problem for me.
  18. I'm really looking forward to being able to load bombs on my Spit. :)
  19. That's the only way I trim, a quick altitude/attitude hold and she's all trimmed out. :)
  20. Fly one hour, service 50 hours. Maybe better of they make a BlackHawk and only charge us 1/6th of the price?
  21. Great news, I'm really looking forward to the update! Now I just need to learn to use the RB 15...
  22. Tried this mission, got shot down the first two tries (yes, I really need to train!), but on the third try I started to get into a good position on the leader when DCS decided to crash to desk. Happened once before tonight while flying the dogfight mission (and of course I had just shot down the both 190's without getting my wingman killed), CTD. Also got the loss of TIR once tonight while flying the Spit. Flew the DF mission against the 190 in the Mustang a couple of times to see if I got something similar, but in the 4 runs I did with the P-51 I never had any problems...
  23. Yes, I've also had crashes to desk while flying the Spitfire. I think it have mostly happened in the dogfight mission (as that is what I have flown the most), but might have happened in other missions as well. ETA: It have actually happened to me while flying online as well, so not mission dependent. I also have a problem with DCS loosing connection to Track-IR. Can't say for sure if that have only happened when flying the Spit. TIR remains on (green on the left side), but DCS have lost connection to it, only need to restart DCS to get it working again, but really annoying if you're in the middle of a mission. That have never happened in other games.
  24. No saved track I think. I did watch the track directly after it happened once, but instead of showing the wingtips falling off, it just showed my plane going straight into the ground (I had switched to outside view to try to see what happened).
