  8. Well, you know the standard, you know what DCS people are used to and expect to see and you can guesstimate your future sales if you have a look at the people viewing this sub-forum, the general interest in DCS like sims, the interest in jet fighters in this kind of sim. So I think you've spent your time and money very well. Wish you guys all the best, don't get burn-outed, take a month off or so after release. Thanks for your effort guys!

    Release??

I was to shy to ask, but that was my guess too.... The swiss air force F-5Es are using only guns and AIM-9Ps, I thought that would be a suitable opponent, and maybe a very early F-4 would be. My guess: the F-104 wouldn't stand a chance against the bis Btw: did the EE Lightning saw any combat action?
  10. I was thinking the same... And some (like the A-10) even have redundant and emergency flight control systems. I guess the average aircraft doesn't have this. The Learjet was operated by a civilian company which serves as a target for the fighters. Don't know if it's said in the english news Their website: http://www.gfd-hohn.de Well the swiss air force PC-9 are painted black-yellow just sayin... Pictures
  11. Awesome! What's the sidestick for?
  12. Oh-Ok Darth Maul

    Release??

That' a good guess, maybe it will be available before, but think of all the coalitions that may have to be added it would be the easiest to incorporate all this in the patch. But anyway I guess that, it will come before 1.3.0 (which is still months away I guess and not even tested) and then a hotfix will be issued to fix the biggest compability isssues. I'm pretty confident that they will release it before the end of the month, because they stated it "only" has to be tested and approved by ED needless to say: REALLY looking forward to this

  15. So, while some of us are waiting for the MiG-21bis to come out, I'm starting this to pass the time The Tu-128 (Wikipedia) I first saw it in Monino (the russian air force museum near moscow) among a lot of other stuff, I didn't know it, and I thought it may have been an experimental thing. But as wikipedia says, almost 200 have been built, which is quite a lot I think. Yet so little is known about it. So if you have any further information or photos/videos about this thing, post it here I would be interested in where it was based (polar circle?) and how it was used
  16. Hi all, I'm selling the folowing: -Logitech G940 Joystick, 2.5 years old, working -Logitech G940 Throttle, same age, some wires inside broken despite being fixed a 1st time, reversal bug on some buttons, and R1 and R2 wheels, but can be fixed within 2-3 hours Logitech g940 Pedals, same age, plug is cut off, needs to be soldered a new plug else working perfectly -and a G25 pedal cable from Leo Bodnar (ordered March this year) only used for testing website I bought myself a TM Warthog and wanted to reuse my pedals (see this. Post) I haven't had enough patience for this that's why i gave up on it and ordered MFG Simundzas pedals.... If you're interested in some OR all of the items PN me. PRICE: price of shipping from Switzerland to you! This offer lasts until tomorrow 20.06.2014 09:00 CEST (it's 14:40 CEST now) Else I will send it where it came from: china aka the local junkyard
  17. :shocking::worthy::wub: Das sieht ja mal Hammer aus! Aserbaidschan?
  18. +1000 Despite the fact FSX is the FS Version of windows Vista, good looking but far from handy, I left it completely because you could really feel how unreal it is when it comes to flight dynamics. Aaaaaaand it still needs a rig worth 10 grand to be played on fulll settings
  19. :cheer3nc: Thanks a lot I've seen enough WWII junk flying in various sims
  20. The receipents name (you?), the name where it will be sent to
  21. Yes you are  When I remember my Fs2004 and short FSX days and all the rubbish I've bought just because there was no alternative... a MiG-29 I once bought, an offense to the eye to say the least, but I had alot of BS, still mourning for all that money wasted
  22. So is the F-5, but I think that one is/was far worse then the Gripen E will be. The Gripen would have been the best solution for us. Or what do you think about buying Hornets without having a carrier nor access to sea, to only equip it with Air-Air missiles? Look at the mass of equipment the Hornet would be capable to carry! This still seems to me like buying a Ferrari but only using its 1st and reverse gear  Anyway a sad story. If I had to go vote tomorrow on the hold of our armed forces or better a change into a improved civil protection service (for floods, earthquakes, forest fires etc.) I would definately vote yes.
  23. My experiment also was close to an airfield but anyway if the player is steering the unit, it takes forever to reload/restock
  24. If you you set up a player driven SA-18 and fire 3 shots it shows 3000+ seconds reloading time, switch to another unit and it will start shooting again after a few seconds. What I did: I fired 3 times, then switched to another unit and back to the SA-18 a couple of times (just for a second) and suddenly it will be reloaded again with 3 shots. You can reproduce this.
