Hey Flappie! Thanks for the hints! I'll give it one more try, I think I mixed up two bases for any reason (maybe I just was too upset caused by the IMHO bad mission design) *LOL* Are the other missions as bad as well or will it get better?

I recently started to fly mission 1 of this campaign, and after several tries it is still not possible to complete it. Can someone please elaborate what exactly has to be done in this mission and where and how? Also, an audiofile indicates to fly 075 and then turn left at the outpost? What outpost? If the next one is meant, heading 113 would be right, not left. Radio is also not working, not even one farp is answering my calls on the respective frequency. Next, how should I land at Balaani farp? There is no helipad there, and the terrain is everything else from flat and the troops are not visible due to trees all around. For what is Leningori needed? Do I have to land there or not?

It uses the RWR to receive radar signals from other radars, yes. The pod himself then analyzes the received signals, and jams them using his own antennas. It is also able to do triangulation to determine the position of an emitter.

Hello Hawkmoon! Yes, you can put the knob "U22 mode selector" to position A and the knob "U22 bandwith selection" to F. With that setting, which is a "preheat" mode, the jammer does nothing except warming up. If you then need recording during flight, simply put the knob from F to any of G, H, J or K. Then it should record silently. After recording you can put it back to F.

Oh, because I have different settings, depending on aircraft (module). Depending on the throttle configuration (I use Warthog), I had to create different profiles, since the PTT config is not the same for all aircraft I fly. I found one common setting for usage in F-16, F-18, AJS, and some other aircraft I usually fly. This profile I use most. I have another 3 different profiles for the F-14, depending on the slot (front with Jester, front with real RIO, rear with ICEMAN or real PILOT). The F-5 always required a different setting for me. The UH-1 needs another setting. In terms of switching profiles, VIACOM worked really fine so far, and I was happy that this function was offered. But as written above, nowadays this doesn't seem to work anymore due to something I cannot figure out I will try to make the common profile work with the F-5 and the UH-1 as well maybe someday, but currently I would prefer to have the software work correctly before I put hours into re-configuration of something that worked pretty fine. Are you still approaching this issue somehow, or do you think the software works correctly? Depending on your answer, I will just wait, or re-configure the one or other part ... waiting is no problem, but re-configuration makes me not too happy. ;)

IMHO that would be a good idea, since it saves much time getting rid of the binds through all modules. Currently a crosscheck through modules is done by a programmed routine anyway, so a box with some options could pop up, containing the following: - A "only certain modules option", this opens checkboxes for all modules that host this certain action - A "remove from all modules" option - A "Cancel" button - A "Do it" button

In the DCS installation folder the file which shows all changes is autoupdate_log.txt

just for my curiosity Hawkeye91, have you tried landing without SPAK? Do the rudder pedals (and the rudder surface) then work so bad also?

Hey tiizy! I am not 100% sure, but I think there is a file somewhere named "autoupdater.log" (or something very similar, its in the DCS root folder I think). TBH, I can't really remember where I read about my missing files back then). Maybe @IronMike is better in knowing this, because unfortunately I currently have no access to my DCS machine Edit: on the other hand, I you applied the repair, and then fly, you - hopefully - see a difference...

It doesn't matter if you understand or not why it get's 4 pages. This is a whishlist, and who ever added a "+1" to this wishlist is pretty aware (and obviously upset) about the behaviour of the sim in this regard. Anyway, your comments are welcome.

Hi Sabre-TLA!! Oh wow, that was a cool - and quick - find! I gave it a shot, and I noticed that with each degree above 0° the lines show up more and more. I think they implemented a sort of "ice build up". Bug or feature? Who knows! Anyway, I think I have to spend you 10 coffees!

Hi folks! I am exhausted, because I am not able to find the error in this mission file. Once loaded in Mission Editor or in Multiplayer, the yellow and white runway and taxiway markings on all airfields are missing. Before you think my installation is corrupt: NO. The problem is within the mission file, because when I clear the mission editor and load another mission, or just a clear the editor and start the mission, everything is fine, all lines are shown on all runways and taxiways. The mission was initially created about 2 years ago, and developed over time, which means that it was saved a lot of times using different OB versions. Stepwise I removed all objects, triggers, etc. from the mission, to find out what the problem causes, but now it is finally completely empty and the problem still exists. Can some expert please tell me which line in the mission file is wrong please? Otherwise I have to throw away a mission that took more than 50 hours of work ... Thanks for any advice or hint! He didn't say he wasn't in a loop when firing the Rb-04's Let's see if @Pixy67is able to find a log file. I flew hundreds of loops during the last few days, and had no problems.

I had a very similar situation yesterday, but unfortunately I have no more track available.

Hello tiizy, have you already tried a repair (dcs_updater.exe repair)? I am asking because I had similar problems in the past one time with the F-14 module, where I noticed that during a normal update process the F-14 module was not updated completely. After applying a repair, a few files of the F-14 module (and by the way a few files of BAZAR) had been replaced, and then everything was OK.

Hey Nevyn! Are you REALLY SURE you applied the new key-combo for showing up the new sub-pages? I heard the new-combos sometimes cause troubles when they are assigned to anything other than non-standard, but using the "Default" bindings they DO work. I am just asking to make 100% sure that you do the right thing before you start doing big changes on your computer (format C ... ).

Is @Eagle Dynamics aware of that problem? I am used to use the SYNC function all the time, for some reasons. IMHO the problem is not "solved", the problem is just beeing worked around.
