  1. Did you by chance move your cameras recently? Is the view only messed up in DCS or all VR games?
  2. Ensure you are running Open Beta as that is the only version that has it for now. Stable branch will most likely get it on the 14th of Nov.
  3. You will have guys that are dedicated to a module or that is their primary task. Either way once the work is done there has to be something for them to do or you fire them. The logical course is that they get tasks for future projects or additional features / bug fixes. Typically models and textures are placeholders while the FM begins development. The actual finished products are worked on concurrently and later integrated. I'd imagine the 3D model would be one of the first things done with final textures and FM to follow. Remember we started seeing the F-18C icon show up in Wags livestreams shortly before it was formally announced. Whether we are 6 months or 6 years away from release is a moot point. ED stated not to expect any info on the Viper until sometime in 2019. At that point we'll get a better idea of when to expect our beloved bird.
  4. Eventually you'll be able to set "mark points" by looking at the ground and pressing a button. Now, it typically won't be accurate enough to use that point to employee a weapon - it does set you up nicely to slew other sensors to that location to get a precise location of the threat. Imagine a SAM launch as you were flying by you would be able to quickly set a MK and extend out for an attack run.
  5. Sure, the guy(s) that develop flight models need something to do... Outside of tweaks to the Hornet's FM they have to have something to work on. You then have the modeling team and texture team. Hornet is done or very close to being done in those areas and outside of tweaks, those guys need something to do as well.
  6. Not from what I can tell. You can see issues if you have selected the 9X on the opposite side of the Aircraft that your target it is - all depends on distance and angle.
  7. For one, the color options aren't modeled yet. Two, we don't have any subsystems, especially with the radar, that will actually utilize it at this time. This is an Early Access module. Not everything works today. What the image shows you is what you can expect to see sometime in the future as the Hornet is fleshed out.
  8. Here's an example of what things will look like: You can see the ATFLIR in the left DDI and A/G radar in the right DDI. http://pdt-usa.com/f-18.htm
  9. Not sure I understand... With the ATFLIR you can only target one target at a time with the 65-E. If you have more than one JTAC you can launch multiple 65-E's by using different laser codes for each JTAC and each 65-E.
  10. No, not at all. They can and are used for those purposes all of the time.
  11. Actually the DDI's have limited color capabilities. If I remember correctly they can do Green, Red and Yellow.
  12. Yes it *should* be on Wed with the Open Beta Update. I think what the OP that you were responding was whether the JHCMS will work with other Fox2's that have a much more limited gimbal angle.
  13. I understand and I'd love to see it fixed as well. In the meantime, use what works. If you need TACAN on the IL-78, use MOOSE and it works perfectly.
  14. You can always use an IL-78.
  15. That was still not the purpose of this thread, as you put it, try to deflect all you want - you were wrong. When you behave in an immature manner you will be called out for it. Don't get mad because there is no safe space for you to scream at the sky. We've heard your point of view time after time and it is the same repetitive BS. It has been explained by the community, ED, Wags and forum moderators and you still behave as if you are entitled to whatever you want when you want it. The problem is you cannot accept that people don't share the same point of view as you. That is what this boils down to.
  16. ED DID NOT hint nor imply a big update would be released today. YOU assumed it was since this is the week for an OB update. An update was released today; maybe you should check your logic again... This is your own doing.
  17. No, that thread said they were trying to get things out by the end of the month. The thread DID NOT say that x was going to be available on 24 Oct. Actually, no. The thread was started before the OB update was even released and the OP was wondering if there was any update at all today - you hijacked it for your nefarious scheme. Or you could be mature enough to realize that stuff happens and ED / Wags will give us some information when they can. There's no rule that says that they cannot release two updates to OB in a day... There's no rule that says we my not get another update this week or next week. Just like we got a patch for OB last week. You simply need to grow up. That is a flat out lie. In fact we got a patch last week and the week before that for OB. There were items fixed on the Hornet in those patches. Really? How simple is it? If it is so simple why don't you provide the code to ED to fix this simple issue? The radar was rebuilt from the ground up to support all of the features that are coming with the Hornet. They didn't just copy and paste the F-15C radar code into the Hornet. Oh yeah, you have no clue what you are talking about. This is irrelevant. I'm sure ED has had lots of success with the Hornet. That does not change the fact that you pre-purchased a product to gain early access to an unreleased product. The Hornet is a priority for ED, it's obvious in the quality and detail in what we have and what they are striving to achieve. If it was not a high priority it would have been released as a FC3 module for $39.
  18. We have to wait and see, patience...
  19. No, just speculation.
  20. I doubt we will see the 65E this month - just my opinion. I read it slightly different than you guys in that Mavs, in general are delayed, the E is being worked on now and the F/G will get attention after the E is done.
  21. You need to clear the key binds and reassign buttons to them. It's a very easy fix.
  22. The pilot does have the ability to "lock" the second seat. At least I remember having that option back in the days when I flew the Gazelle on a regular basis.
  23. Not true. Modules currently discounted are typically not eligible for use with the bonus system.
  24. The F-14 will not come with 2 campaigns on day one. One campaign is for the F-14A which will not be available on day one. There is a Hornet mini-campaign available, give that a go. There are also instant action missions you can fly if you are bored of flying in circles.
  25. I found with the red ones if I cleared all bindings for that 'key' I could bind a new button press. It seems like the red ones denote a double assignment of sorts. They have been available for over a month.
