How does one assign a road base or FARP as a landing point in the Mission Editor? So far all my attempts have resulted in the closest base to the starting point being selected as both L1 and L2. EDIT: I know it can be done on the F10 map using markers, but these will be air-starts so that's not available. Thus it needs to be done in the mission editor.

The DCS Viggen does have TOT functions, and they work quite well (in my limited testing)

there's a bug thread about it here

Add new M waypoint for BK90 TOO in flight?
LazyBoot replied to Machalot's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Here's a nice trick for that: set mode to LIN (linear), and turn marker gain down so that the ground is only slightly visible. Then most ground units should stand out quite weill. -
I think the current limits of the multicrew might still be a bit of a showstopper for PC, since seat switching will be required when there's no 2nd player
-
@IronMikeAny chance you guys could add this to the list of things to look at? It's making it really hard to put accurate fixes on the radar with only 1 cursor speed.

You could also use SPA mode to assign targets directly from the radar screen -
Last time I checked the same issue with water happens with helicopter search lights as well, the water just stays a black void.
-
Where does the speed limits on the kneeboard image come from? Some of them don't match the provided manuals.
-
MJ2 (I believe I mentioned that earlier) I understand that, my original question was more relating to if similar issues also affected the BK90s.
-
only the helicopters were statics, the rest normal units
-
Sadly, the F10 view showed hardly any damage to the vehicles.
-
If it helps, here's what tacview shows (though it sadly doesn't show statics at all) before: after:
-
On the other hand, here's a set of 4x BK90 (Mj2) only killing a single unit (and possibly some statics, since DCS or tacview doesn't record that)
-
Let's start with the basics: Are you in A1? Is the marker gain roughly in the middle? Is the elevation set to around the default middle?
-
Since HB seems to be more actively looking through this part of the forums I'll bump this and tag @IronMike
-
Will any of the new cb87/103 changes apply to the bk90? Or will HB at least make sure it performs comparatively to the other similar weapons?
-
other way around! ground units show up better in linear mode (with the gain reduced) while ships etc show quite nicely in logarithmic (which is the default)
-
Having both options would be really nice
-
If it is this way IRL I'd like evidence of that. Because I find it unlikely that it's push up to move the cursor up while in nav/anf and then push down to move the cursor up while in spa (or vice versa)

More accurate Apparat 27 - AJS37 RWR mod
LazyBoot replied to MYSE1234's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Maybe you could add it to the list in https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/282040-custom-cmds-lua-now-breaking-ic/ and hope ED will allow it -
SPA mode is also inverted relative to the normal radar fix mode (or possibly the radar fix mode is inverted relative to everything else)

is it still the case that it doesn't apply to player aircraft? -
Until the multicrew desync is fixed, I'd say the opposite of this. Since the Operator can't fire countermeasures that are visible to anyone but themselves at the moment.
