  1. It was the plan several years ago at least. If they stick to their plan it should be around by 2020.
  2. Of course coding is not just a copy/paste exercise, I never said it was. It just means that 20 years ago there was already an excellent rendition of airport operations able to manage several dozen aircrafts - yes, several dozens. As usual, it's all about priorities, if ED decided to put a lot of efforts into ATC procedures we could have it pretty fast I guess. That's what frustrating about our sim, we don't know how they manage ressources, we are in the dark regarding the development process.
  3. It means Mid-Life Overhaul. A major rework of the Mirage systems.
  4. Yeah sure, but since the November update we only had a 12 minutes video update and won't have one until April 2019 at best. At this point Razbam should rename the video series and avoid to use a "monthly update" reference. Razbam has currently 16 people working on different projects and each aircraft released has its own coder according to Decoy. If that so how have we seen so little functionnal updates on the Mirage systems (don't know the Harrier status) in the last few months ? We supported Razbam by purchasing one or various modules, I think we deserve a little more than a 12 minutes video update in four months. I want to believe™ the team has put some heavy work on the Mirage since October/November 2018 and this is exactly what I was expecting to aknowledge on this January/February update. They let us down, once more.
  5. Why shouldn't we expect AI to be able to operate correctly on airfields when the other modern combat flight sim is doing it since 20 years ? The core functionalities of the sim (ATC, weather, ordinance effects, updated 3D models objects) is what I expect the most from ED. It can't get delivered soon enough.
  6. Ok, thank you for taking a bit of your time to reply)
  7. Take Aerogator's comment with a grain of salt, despite his attempts to minimize the supply chain issues there's plenty evidence of people trying to get their hands on a MCG Pro for more than a year now. Just take a look at this page of the topic and you'll have plenty of very recent accounts of members trying to buy products from VKB. Do they manufacture quality products ? Yeah, for sure, no doubt about that. Can you expect to buy them in a heartbeat ? Not a chance.
  8. I do not mod my game. What about IC ?
  9. How can you not have control over a dealer selling your products ? It seems non sense to me. I'm glad I bought the GF/KG12/MCG Pro before the VKB hype thing, but I fear the day you'll sell your throttle or the Tomcat grip. We'll surely have the same problem for european customers if not worst as your brand is now far more known in the flight sim community.
  10. A paddle would be greatly appreciated despite not being present on the original stick.
  11. Meh ... It's now official, no update for February.
  12. Yep ! I try to see the bright side of the situation, I spent my entire life without a Pimax headset, I can wait a few more months to get my hands on it. Who knows, perhaps the new GPUs will be out by the time they fix their supply chain and I'll enjoy better performance too ?
  13. I got a surprise today as I received an email from Support after being ignored for weeks. I was told they were busy with all the peorders but I should not worry as my order would be sent shortly to me. They don't realize I have been refunded two days ago … I am torn between telling them my order has been already cancelled or waiting and see if the departments communicate with each others and tell the warehouse to cancel the shipment.
  14. Oh wow ! Thank you for sharing 200+ pages of goodness !
  15. Thank you for the links)
  16. In a previous post and on the October 2018 video update they said they were going to Orange, home base for the 2/5 Ile de France. Someone is specifically flying there to scan the cockpits with their new technology.
  17. Do they translate those for the non russian community members ?
  18. All valid points. I just wanted to share my opinion, it is done now and I have no reason to harrass the team who made my favorite and only module.
  19. I remember this one but I was thinking about something revolving around the dev team. The AMA session with Nick Grey was interesting but heavily oriented to WWII products.
  20. Hi there ! I was wondering if Eagle Dynamics was planning to hold a AMA event someday (in the near future would be great I won't lie). It is sometimes difficult to interact with the dev team and it's even more difficult to follow all the projects via the forum. As we don't have a way to directly ask questions to developpers, it would be great to have once or twice a year the opportunity to do so. I realize there's an enormous amount of work to do and the team is hard at work, but if you could spare two or three hours a year to talk with your community, that would be fantastic ! Thank you))
  21. Regarding the lack of data, they said multiple times they finally had all the requirements to finish the module thanks to the FAF deal. I assume they set an initial MLO release date in regards with this data and their ability to integrate it into their module. You can have a setback once, even twice in a row, but at some point you need to learn from your mistake, that's what we all do on a daily basis right ? But to be honest that's not even the point, you're just diverting from the real problem in my opinion, which is : the same team is working on multiple modules despite the fact they said it was not the case. Don't assume unhappy customers are not aware of the current business model dilemma. As I stated in the message you didn't quote, it's perfectly ok that artists and coders who are done with their work move on to the next project. As you said, nobody is expecting them to sit in a corner waiting for the module being complete. A new question arise : how others 3rd party developpers sustain themselves with long term projects ? As you mentionned another 3rd party developper, I will just say that in the last year they just redo entirely their Air to Ground radar with their own expertise and made their specific ordinance operational in single and multiplayer while we are waiting for the BAP 100 for more than two years. I do understand people who are supportive of 3rd parties developpers, they add so much to the DCS environment. But it must not become an excuse to accept some dubious behaviors. If you really want to support them, pay their module full price, the money is everything and they need it if we want them to provide us quality content.
  22. Does this mean the information about the MiG-19 team was inacurate ? At this point the main coders on the Mirage and the MLO due last year are the same who spent several months coding the MiG-19P. In the roadmap topic created two years ago, Prowler said that they would be no conflicts between the projects. At best his statement was awfully incorrect but I fear it was just purely deception. Some of the members here will argue that we knew what we were buying and I am a 100% ok with you, but the fact is I bought the Mirage last summer after they announced their FAF deal and the promise to deliver the new update by the end of the year. I didn't bought the Mirage when it was released as a preorder because I thought they could use some more time to refine it ; instead I waited and paid full price to show my support in an ingoing project who just secured a major deal. Since, it got pushed back constantly and we are now aiming for a Summer 2019 release at best. At what point should we get out of the early access ? Three years ? Five years ? The Mirage is on its way to its 3rd anniversary release date and Razbam announced the plane early 2014, five years ago ; that's already a good amount of time to develop a "simple" 4th gen single jet fighter. Some would say that Eagle Dynamics is also developing their Hornet for a long time but the fact is they're not releasing a new plane every year while they're working on a much more challenging plane. I'm with Dagger on this one. I think Razbam is creating a situation where Eagle Dynamics will need to enforce new rules about new modules development. I'm totally fine with the fact that 3D/textures artists and the FM/engine coder move on when then're done with their part of the job, but the system coders should not be allowed to leave behind projects that are lacking and still in beta state. Razbam is hurting its own brand but it's also hurting ED reputation by allowing modules in an eternal state of development and unfulfilled promises.
  23. Can we have an update on the current roadmap from Razbam, the original message is already two years old. Thank you))
  24. Take a deep breath if you can't stand people talking about a delay of the MLO and the reason behind it. That's just the way it is, these messages are nothing but on topic.
  25. I didn't know the composition of the MiG-19 team. Razbam stated several times that the MiG-19 did not took any ressources from others projects … It sure put things into new perspectives.
