    F15E When?

Please, don't rush Razbam into releasing a new plane when they have so MUCH to do yet with their current plane set. A lot of people were pushing them to release the Harrier last year even the Mirage war far from being completed. Today, the Harrier pilots seem to be in the same spot as the Mirage pilots felt when Razbam announced their next module. That's a nonsense to ask for more planes every other day when the ones we actually have are still a work in progress and won't be finished for a long time (the Mirage is a 3+ years product, remember ?). I wish, we, as customers, were more responsible regarding our constant need for something new and shiny ; we could at least relieve a bit of pressure from dev teams who feel obligated to deliver to maintain the "hype".
  2. Having this type of problem after 3+ years of development under the belt is surreal.
  3. Unfortunately.
  4. Very impressive and superb setup. As an exclusive Mirage driver I'm feeling a bit envious :x Thank you for sharing)
  5. That's what they hinted during their 25th anniversary. The following interview is in french.
  6. This year ? Did they changed their planning since their 25th anniversary event in NYC ? In their interview they just announced something for 2020.
  7. That's the plan. With a bit of luck we'll have the new throttle at the same time.
  8. You don't play a lot of others sims in VR don't you ? DCS is by far the worst experience I have in VR compared to others titles where I can reach at least 60FPS in dense scenarios or sometimes even hit the 90FPS. I'm not saying DCS is unplayable in VR, I'm just stating a fact : DCS is currently the less optimized simulation for VR. Please feel free to laugh at plain hard facts.
  9. I am into the "meh" camp. VR is clearly a big step regarding immersion, no doubt about that. But it can be a deal breaker for some users when used within DCS ; the tech is almost there and works really well with plenty of games, other sims too. The fact is DCS need a drastic improvement in the VR department. I'm saying this as I used to play VR with the Rift and I'm patiently waiting for my 5K+ from Pimax. If you're looking for stellar graphics and high FPS count, you can wait for Eagle Dynamics to work and implement VR correctly in DCS - if it's even possible, I don't know how difficult it could be for the dev to work around their engine.
  10. Thanks for the review, very informative.
  11. Are NATO countries not using the same protocols regarding this kind of information ?
  12. I wonder why the Magic II has been given a 5nm range when public information accounts for almost twice that value. It would be great to hear from Razbam about this.
  13. There's no strech here, they did say they were indeed going to another french air base in May 2019 and they are going to 3D scan a 2000-5 before adding an enthusiastic comment "Fox 3 baby !". They already got green lights from the guys in charge to continue their projects. The only thing to keep in mind : there's absolutely no date to a release even if we could see now and then work on the 2000-5 and 2000-D. Please feel free to watch again the october update, I'll ease the work for you and go directly to 23'20 to hear the statement : VxqOvFn5rTk
  14. The changelog from today's Open Beta patch warned players that the pilot is missing in VR until the new model is made available for VR users. No date specified at this moment.
  15. The 2000-5 has been confirmed by Razbam in their October youtube video update. Rejoice !
  16. The clock displays Zulu Time.
  17. Thank you for the update Zeus, this is great news.
  18. If you intend to invest a lot of time in the Mirage until mastering it, I would not recommend you to buy it at its current development stage. There's plently of work to do on this plane until it truly leaves early access status. Razbam has already announced that a major revamp of the plane and its avionic will be delivered in May 2019 - at best, it should have been released before the end of 2018. If the Mirage is only one of many planes you will fly, fine, you can have some fun with it, but if it's your daily driver and/or only plane (as it is in my case), you should reconsider this purchase.
  19. I wasn't asking for these airplanes to be flyable. Like it or not, civilian aircrafts are anyway already available as official modules in DCS and more are coming, we have to deal with it. I don't see any inconvenience to have the largest airplane database possible. It's always a good thing to have as much options as possible. Our maps are pretty small and don't fit a large scale conflict, but they are perfect for limited engagements where civilian traffic is still operating in the area. It can add a layer of realism to any mission with very little work from the mission creator.
  20. Why "a small hope" when Thrustmaster themselves sais a new HOTAS would be available around 2020 ? It's just a matter of time and patience before we see something.
  21. Amazing work ! Thank you for your dedication to continually update this mod. Have you been in contact with ED to include it in DCS ?
  22. This is a good idea but I think it would only show how DCS lacks in consistency regarding its database. Not a great way to sell your product.
  23. The amount of updates to the Viggen lately is insane. Thank you for supporting your community as much as you do - I don't even fly the Viggen and don't plan to fly the Tomcat either as I already fly the Mirage (still, I buy your module to support your fantastic work). I'm really amazed by your dedication towards your customer, I wish you were the benchmark for all the 3rd parties involved in DCS. Thank you !
  24. Thanks for the details jojo !
