I think we are all relishing a full fidelity MiG-23, MiG-27, and earlier Sukoi models in full fidelity. Does it have to be perfect, not in my opinion. I know the secrecy of Moscow, yada yada. 95% solution is fine with me, just make it clickable and stuff.

Dreamers push the envelop and bring change. Naysayers, well... they get crushed.

Yep the UH-1 oscillates. Quite wobbly IMHO when compared to more modern helicopters. It was always the more exciting an aircraft to do airborne operations and rappelling operations than others. In comparison the Blackhawk was far more stable in flight and the wobble effect was substantially reduced. I found flying the R-44 even had slightly less of a wobble effect. But then being at the controls always seems to make things easier.

But..but... ED should have completed this module in 1996!!! And where are those Triple mount Phaser cannons I asked for on this thing. I'm fairly sure I saw an F-16 flying around with one once, right before I was abducted the first time! Oh dear the agony of the wait...

Sounds good. Looking forward to all those modules.

CASA-212 We used it in special operations. 2 engines, jumpable, small loads, field landing strip capable. Simple, sweet, and would be a nice asset.
-
Tornado Noticed it on the Nevada map parked with all the other flyable models, no other planes around. I think it might be a clue that that plane is in the works from ED. What say you?

Iranian voice language for Iranian assets
CAmastersgt replied to Ducksen's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Derka Derka? +1 Seems like a legit idea, I'm for it. Yes Iranian attack boats, even their small little ones. -
+1 I like the idea of G force fatigue. Seems unrealistic without it. Not to keen on anyone being able to turn it off as an option. However, if it is a server wide option then maybe.

Which direciton? VR or TrackIR+HOTAS for A10C?
CAmastersgt replied to wagdog's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
The new visual quality given by VR models like the Reverb make it a must. If you go with Oculus CV1, any of the first gen HP models or the Rift S, eh...then don't waste your money. Go with buying a good HOTAS. Recommend HOTAS: Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS Pedals: Thrustmaster TPR VR: Reverb Graphics Card: 2080Ti Around $3000 on Newegg 10/11/2019 -
Windows Mixed Reality Native Support in DCS World

Was thinking about getting the Reverb. Does it work in non-Steam DCS world? -

What is the true reason for no Heavy Aircraft Module devs?
CAmastersgt replied to Wing's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Regularly had B-1's in support of our ground operations in Afghanistan, even at low level(200 ft) along the Paki/Afghan border. Although classified as Strategic Bombers they are regularly used at the tactical level. Would love to see them in DCS. Map size not a problem. They can drop precision munitions, not just dumb bombs. I could deal with decent AI crew members/real crew members. Would be fun to learn all of its capabilities. Not against seeing it in-game as a module. Some may not like it but I think a lot of people would buy it. Transport planes too. C-130 would be a buy. Base resupply for a dynamic campaign....hmmm. Airdrop to forward units, rough field landings, airborne operations. Possibilities are endless. I'm not opposed to people saying they wouldn't buy it, that's them. ED is about pushing the envelop, this could be a good thing. Anything can be developed. Systems however may be classified and that would be a problem for accuracy. +1 for someone creating it though. -
Mouse based flight control (see video)

Honestly I'm okay with divining rods. If that's what makes people happy then so be it. -

Who even cares, let mousers be mousers. Doesn't affect me. If ED want's to cater to that, let them. Doesn't affect me and won't get BUTT HURT by what someone uses to control their aircraft. Just be happy there is an erratic flying aircraft for you to shoot at. It's just a GAME! (Detailed Flight Sim) :pilotfly: -
lol, I'm sure the F-14 module is a good module too.
-
Excited for this release. Just bought the module yesterday. Looks to be the best module release since the F-18.

Would definitely look forward to RC East (Nangahar, Kunar, Nuristan) for the high mountains and the forests and also Kandahar and Helmand Province. Served in both areas and the terrain is vastly different. Anywhere along the Paki border is good. Iran border, hmmm interesting future combat options too.

Doesn't A-10C feel more flight capable in real life?

Well well It's always the pilot that matters most. Airframes can't do anything without proper input. Many greats in air warfare have attested to the fact a great pilot in an inferior aircraft will usually beat an poor pilot in a superior aircraft. Know your plane and most importantly it's systems. That being said, it is interesting that French pilots rated their toughest opponents in DACT with the US Navy as being the F/A-18C, then the F/A-18E, and lastly the F-14D. (Throwing that out there to see who becomes TRIGGERED, :megalol:) Do I care NO. I love the back and forth banter though. Amusing. Fly well and enjoy. Bring on the F-4 Phantom, it's what we all been really waiting for!!! -
I agree with that. :)

You don't have to believe me, but from all the evidence about missiles in the "game" at this point there is a problem. That moves it farther from simulation and more into the game realm. Still a huge fan of DCS but everyone is beginning to agree there are problems. Thanks for your input.:megalol::megalol:

Still quite relevant. :) I'm sure you understand that, common sense really.
