  1. sobek, Thank you for the reply. Although i did initially take a little offense to your post, your reply clearly shows you meant none.....so again, thank you. I wouldnt consider myself a complete novice but neither do I understand all the terms used either. I can well imagine it being very frustrating to see a post like blacknemisis posted only for others to feed their egos....but I honestly took my reply to him as a bit of fun. As a simmer for many years it struck me that blacknemisis obviously enjoys the xbox type games more....as Imho this is the best software release since f4 (which I thought was great) and quoting FO as better before its released was ill advised Hope your enjoying BS half as much as me Kind Regards, Gary
  2. sobek, Actually to be honest, no I didnt know what a troll was. I also have no idea what usenet is or the funny shape you sent blacknemisis But hay, actually I'm comfortable with that really.... I spend time here pursuning my hobbie and if I feel like replying to someone I quiet often do...never felt the need to qualify who they were or what their motives might be.....its just a bit of fun really...and id rather keep it that way, but thanks for enlightening me anyway. Regards, Gary
  3. Gents, Thanks for the replies...appreciated I done a little reasearch. Unfortunately my Bios doesnt allow me the ability the play around with clock speeds etc and I have the very latest Bios version. Oh well, it was just a thoght. Another question (completely off topic but your here now) I have had BS for many weeks now. When I originally downloaded the software I wrote my serial number down but cant find it. I'm sure I could go back on the 1C website, log on and find it but assume windows has it somewhere? I'm running Vista (32) and wondered how easy it would be to locate my serial number? Any ideas? Regards, Gary
  4. Can you explain what you mean please in more detail? Perhaps try taking the simulation out of "game" mode and try the "real" mode instead? Or Just stick to the xbox lol.....sorry, couldnt resist!
  5. Very, very good. Regards, Gary
  6. Bump...(I think thats the term anyway!)
  7. All, Wonder if anyone can help me? I have a Toshiba laptop with the following. CPU = Intel core duo P8400 @ 2.26/2.27 ghz Ram = 4gb GPU = ATI HD3470 (256mb I think!) max resolution is 1440x900 Question is, given its a laptop and particulary hard just to replace existing GPU or processor I'm guessing easy and cheap option is to overclock? Does anyone have any idea how I would do this on my system? I would need very clear and simple instructions if anyone is kind enough to help? Or maybe its not a good idea at all? Thanks in anticipation Regards, Gary
  8. I spent a lot of time setting mine up and you eventually get the rewards. Setting deadzones is what worked best for me in the end. My only gripe with it now is that I find it difficult to keep my head still when looking down and clicking switches....have to really concentrate on keeping my head still or risk clicking the switch NEXT to the one I want to!.....not a good idea! Regards, Gary
  9. Good vid. Was that at night? or just the display contrast? Regards, Gary
  10. I'm no expert but it would seem to me that flying so low, and so slow (i.e. behind trees) is blooming dangerous! Groove, I like the real life footage, not seen anyone come back with lots of real life examples of heli's playing hide and seek in the woods If you want to do it all properly, the hills are your best friends Just my 2 cents Regards, Gary
  11. Now I am confussed!....It seems to imply above that lots of rudder is required to fly straight at speed?...but I dont have this problem! Or does this occur when your not using the auto pilot modes only? Regards, Gary
  12. I really enjoyed the mission thank you. Was rewarded after landing with a Medal too!!!! More please...... Regards, Gary

  17. Gents, I'm running Vista and it wont let me change edit the lua. file Any suggestions? Also noticed in the la file it says full screen = false but I do run it full screen (the box is checked)...should that not read = true? Regards, Gary

  23. Phantom, Yep, thats the fun for me too. Took me several months to get F4 down good, but worth every min....and it seems I'm going to be doing the same with BS without all the crashes to desktop either. Gary
  24. What Track Ir bug? So do we just replace the existing file with the alternative? Regards, Gary
