One thing that I learned from the "Sunset" episode was that the engines were unusable forever by activating the fire bottles. I thought you might just be able to clean an engine after that and off you go again.

I had a blast this night trying this thing out. In fact the Bronco might be the plane that's most fun to fly at low level so far. Just finding a convoy in the forest and taking it out while dodging those pesky ZU-23 tracers at tree top level is so cool. In terms of armament options, I'd really like a minigun pod, illumination flares and fragmentation rockets with just 7 rockets per tube, those seem to have been very common, but I might be wrong about that.

Bug: Fuel Dump showing the wrong particles
Tomcatter87 replied to wave04's topic in Bugs and Problems
...seems to be fixed in the latest update. -
Do you have any source for that? I don't think the nose wheel strut is down on parked Tomcats.

Allright, finally I found the time to mess around with the new units. If you setup the new KS-19 100mm gun to fire at point, they reach up to 40 000 feet AGL, which is a lot. I didnt check if the bullets actually reach that altitude though. And: Connecting a radar to a group of AAA guns makes them more effective. While the guns without radar don't see targets at night, they now spot it and shoot at it, even in pitch black night. Works for KS-19, S-60, ZSU-57 and even the ZU-23 emplacement.

It's been quite a while, while that issue is still there: No matter if I select cold or hot start from the carrier, the nose wheel strut is always down, so we have to extend it every time before we taxi. Another bug that has been around for some time is the AI wingman lowering is flaps with wings swept back. That is quite annoying.

VSN flyable aircraft mods
Tomcatter87 replied to razo+r's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Are those nice F-4B liveries still out there @Urbi ? The download link doesnt work anymore. -
Hey guys, I'm wondering what might be the best way to use the new SON-9 AAA radar. With what guns can we pair it? Do we just set up a group with the radar and the guns, e.g. some S-60? Also it would be nice to know the maximum altitude that the new KS-19 100 mm gun can shoot at. The S-60, we can set up to fire at point 10000 feet AGL. What about the big boomer? Has someone tried out yet?

Electronic War Jamming Script V2.0
Tomcatter87 replied to ESAc_matador's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
Still getting those error messages - and I'm not sure what causes them. Most of the time the script works in new missions that I set up, but after a while I'm getting those messages, without changing anything. -
Thanks guys, thats at least something.

Wing sweep indicator is not dispay bomb mode
Tomcatter87 replied to Germane's topic in Bugs and Problems
Can confirm. If I set the wings to bomb mode, the indicator shows "Auto". The wings do sweep into bombing position, though. -
Thanks! What did th 4x 82 bird carry on the belly? A centerline tank maybe?
-
Yeah, but I like realistic loadouts For example, I mostly fly the F-14 and only tried a 6 x Phoenix loadout once.

I really like the Jordanian livery made by wolfthrower and want to create a mission inspired by the jordanian attacks on ISIL camps back in 2015. However I dont find too many information about weapon loadouts of the Royal Jordanian Air Force. What do they use? IIRC, the often have Aim-120C on the wingtips, I havent seen photos of their F-16s with ECM pod, So I guess centerline tank and/ or empty belly. Then two big fuel tanks. But what would they use for ground attack? Two Mk.84s? Or what about a Targeting pod or smart weapons? Does the RJAF use them? And would you carry additional AIM-9s on the remaining two pylons or leave them empty?
