  1. SSDD = Same crap (being polite), different day.:music_whistling:
  2. Very impressive - I look forward to using these. :) +1
  3. Mine is solid and doesn't twist at all.... I never thought to check this until this topic came up. Is the ring that holds the stick to the base loose or something? That may cause it to twist if it's not tight. Don't over-tighten though, of course...
  4. The G27 is a great wheel. :) Hope you find one! I seriously regret selling mine, even though it took up too much space and I didn't use it much. I miss iRacing.
  5. Darn, I knew I shouldn't have sold my G27... :(
  6. This is fantastic, man. Great job! :)
  7. Impressive work! You could make a small business out of this, I'd imagine. ;)
  8. Agreed - I tried 2 different triple-screen setups and was never quite satisfied with them. Especially the headaches involved with setting it up. I've a 40" LED Sony Bravia now and I'm sorry I wasted money trying the triple-screen setup... No regrets on the 40" Sony, though. :)
  9. Make sure your throttle is zeroed out and calibrated. If your throttle is even slightly past 0, you won't be able to move them over the detents. A buddy of mine had the same issue with his CH throttle and calibrating the throttle solved it.
  10. :megalol: I have a Siamese and he is also master of the house. :D
  11. Deadman has been making covers for the HOTAS Warthog: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=62813 Grats to the Op - You're gonna love that setup.:pilotfly:
  12. Good points Gadroc, and I couldn't agree more.
  13. Currently using an Asus Sabertooth X58. Was on a Gigabyte X58 UD3R Rev 1 before that. (My full specs are in my sig)
  14. Same, been running mine on x58 for 8+ months and no issues (knock on wood)
  15. okay, understood.
  16. If I were you, I'd put the SSD in the laptop and use the original mechanical laptop hard drive in an external USB 3 enclosure. Putting an SSD on a USB bus is kinda hamstringing it, I think. USB3 is fast but I think the SATA2/3 bus would be faster. Some testing would have to confirm this, though. If you must use an SSD externally, I'd be looking into E-SATA, assuming your laptop has the port.
  17. Agree'd with all the above folks. Not much point in spending good money on an SSD, if you're not going to take full advantage of it! :)
  18. I suspect you'd have trouble finding drivers for your HOTAS in XP 64, as well... Do some research before you take the chance.
  19. Maybe a new thread called "CH Covers" or something, would generate more attention. Hope you gain some more interest in the idea!
  20. I would be interested in ordering a cover set for CH Fighterstick, pro throttle & possibly CH Pro Throttle Quadrant if demand permits.
  21. I altered mine to match what was in the A10C FAQ. I found aerial refueling was impossible with the default settings. From the FAQ: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=67747 Q: Why are my controls too sensitive? A: The default axis settings for the stick and be a bit touchy for some. If you feel this is the case or you. we suggest: 1- Select Options from Main Menu 2- Select Controls tab 3- From Category drop down list, select Axis Commands 4- Select Pitch for JOY Y and then press Axis Tune button 5- Set JOY Y Deadzone to 10 and Curvature to 30 6- Press Ok button 4- Select Roll for JOY X and then press Axis Tune button 5- Set JOY X Deadzone to 10 and Curvature to 30 6- Press Ok button 7- Press Ok button at bottom of screen to save changes. I set curvature to 30 the same as above, however I have a deadzone of 0 on both axis as the HOTAS Warthog doesnt seem to need any deadzone for me. -Mack
