Dug a little deeper, the first source of info wasn't fully developed in it's answer. The DisplayPort standard does not specify any maximum length for cables, though the DisplayPort 1.2 standard does set a minimum requirement that all cables up to 2 meters in length must support HBR2 speeds (21.6 Gbit/s), and all cables of any length must support RBR speeds (6.48 Gbit/s). Cables greater than 2 meters may or may not support HBR/HBR2 speeds, and cables of any length may or may not support HBR3 speeds. That is a big loss in data transmission speed going over 2 meters. Is 6.48Gbit/s enough to drive two 2160 images?

Makes me wonder if they exceeded published limitations with the original cables. It would only be made worse by adding extensions.

I think its great to have choices, and want the throttle. I would also buy dedicated harrier and F-14 throttle. I purchased Virpil because of the compatibility with TM, the ability to use the A-10/F-16 stick on a better base. I don't want a proprietary base. Now that TM has (freakin finally) released the F-18 stick it is another option for the bases I already have. Just my thoughts, hopefully the powers that be will relent on the requirement to buy the whole package. Still evaluating if paying $800 for "just" the throttle is worth it to me for the added fidelity.

So you have a 2080ti - is it one of the ones about to burn out, did you upgrade your power supply, are you using a hub? Are you loosening the connector against your chair- why the connection is where it is, is poor industrial design. There is more than one point of failure, maybe you really got a bad one and need to exchange it. Maybe, call HP tech support, real answers may emerge when they can look at your setup/settings and we can get solid answers from the developer.

Took the tip Provantage showed 12 in stock yesterday, placed the order and got an email today stating its on backorder. "In stock" does not mean anything from this vendor.

miles, zero mouse issues with rift s. For O+ some have had issues with the mouse disconnecting when starting DCS from the desktop then donning the HMD. Starting DCS from within the WMR interface seems to solve the issue for them.
