BBI 32 and BBI 64 allow for all switches EXCEPT potentiometers. The BU0836X allows the use of potentiometers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

For basically any game and the use of more than one card as your build grows (it will) Leo Bodnar offers input cards that have serial numbers recognized by Windows which prevents Windows from scrambling inputs between cards when you lose power. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

For some a powered PCI USB card works like a charm, for others it fails and the powered USB hub does the trick. It could be that those that don’t find success with the PCI USB card need an upgraded PC power supply as well.

Deadman's A-10 C Cockpit Build Deadman, Stang and fellow builders, I reached out to Deadman and he agreed to design and upload these DDI and MPCD prints to his Shapeways shop. I wanted a print that would be faithful to the original size and design, use easily sourced low profile switches, have room for wiring and offer enough projection to somewhat simulate the depth and varied projections in the Hornet pit yet allow the use of a single monitor behind an MDF mask. Unfortunately, the square push buttons don’t come in gray and are not backlit. I masked each button and sprayed them with Testors dark gray and a matte clear coat. Each button snaps into place with no wiggle or added glue needed. The rotary and potentiometer holes are all sized for 1/8” shaft rotary switches and potentiometers, and could be drilled out for 1/4” versions. Each mounting hole is reinforced and full depth of the print. Deadman has the actual parts listed that he made them to fit. For the Harrier builders the MPCD looks identical to the displays in the AV-8B. I still need to cut the shafts on the pots and rotaries once I sort out the knobs to use, these aren’t quite right yet. Thanks Deadman great job! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

There are numerous requests for key binds throughout the posts on RAZBAM products. There needs to be a clear standard for expected key binds established by ED for 3rd party vendors as well as an expectation that 3rd parties utilize or monitor these forums for bugs and missing features. Modules like the F-18 have many choices for the same commands to allow the use of potentiometers, rotaries or encoders. Good luck! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Bodnar cards for switches, rotaries, encoders and for LEDs either Arduino with DCSBios or Phidgets with Helios. Bodnar cards are a little more each than competitors but they have individual serial numbers so Windows won’t scramble your inputs and you can assign switches within different modules. So many ways to build, lots of threads here to look at to help you decide which method suits what you want to accomplish. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Can we get some information on the new free map to be released in 2019?

Thanks, Deadman. Happy holidays. For the OP, search for Brun’s UFC he also has a set of 3D printed knobs that are useful where smaller knobs are required. Dust off those childhood modeling skills for painting them all up. You can buy from an EHC distributor but they are salty $ and with a bit of tape, Testors paint and patience you can make them look as nice or as worn as you fancy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

You have 3 knobs on your site that I printed before with 1/4 shafts, then I found some better quality potentiometers that have 1/8” round shafts. Your knobs are listed as 8502, TT158, and TT151. Two of the knobs appear to be either EHC TS or TL series. I have not found an original source for the specific knob you have asked about. http://ehcknobs.com/index.php?id=TI-TL Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If you could make the three F-18C lighting knobs available in 1/8” shaft, that would make life easy Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Yep, that’s always resulted in the text of the link surrounded by the IMG tags being displayed. I was happy to make the app work for the couple I have ever uploaded. Not sure if it’s a Safari issue or user error. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Great question, I can add a picture from my iPad using the Tapatalk app, but can’t get it to work from my photos thru the web browser on the same iPad. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

RAZBAM please review this “help” guide page by page, it has too many errors to be of use in its current state. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Export.lua - LoGetMechInfo
Fusedspine33 replied to laertesson's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
You might want to post in the mods section. Lots of folks would appreciate this as an export from ED for the native game. Mods to provide it, however break the game for multiplayer. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

There are on-on-on toggles available, eBay has a few they are usually more expensive and have 6 points on the rear looking like a DPDT switch. They are a bit of a PITA to test the pin out. We luckily have some keybinds that simulate the effect for us built into to some of the modules like the F-18 flap switches which save one input on your card. Honeywell and Eaton on-on-on are available on EBay if you want them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

We get an “announcement” of module X with pictures and then about 2 years later we get early access with 2-3 years of further development. We are only about 1 year since the initial announcement. It’s a big project. It’s NOT coming in two weeks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Buy the most you can afford. A 2080ti isn’t much better than a 1080ti for DCS, you can get one for 450$ used, an i5 9600k is still king for DCS as its limited to 1 core 2 threads. 32Gb of ram and a 1 TB SSD will let you ramp up a bunch of settings. Just when you get it right we’ll get a new version of DCS,lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Why not integrate SRS instead of your in-house VOIP?
Fusedspine33 replied to GunSlingerAUS's topic in Chit-Chat
It’s obvious YOU don’t use or like it. On the GS server it isn’t used, I am sure folks tend to gravitate towards the comms platform he uses for steaming. At probably won’t change unless the ED version supports streamer platforms natively. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

Are you using Tm rudder pedals? They may need a recalibration. I did find the Viper twitchy while the Hornet was normal. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
