It probably isn’t as noticeable until you see how bad it is when you tilt your head in VR. It can be very dizzying.

I hope new clouds debut without the head rotation in VR. It is really disorienting.

Polychop Simulations OH-58D Kiowa ED seems to indicate side by side multiplayer is an issue. The Cobra, Hind and Apache lend themselves to a more proven implementation. They seem to have kept it close to the original layout with the exception of moving some right hand start up controls into their panel. They have hinted at additional panels coming later. You have a valid point 7 years is a bit too long for the multiplayer promised during the 2012 Huey release. Your issue with the Huey is as important to me as mine is with the Hornet. Sorry that you feel it justifies your dismissing Hornet owners complaints. Together we stand, divided we fall, when arguing with town hall. Used 1080ti or wait to see what 30xx series brings. Unless you want ray tracing for other games the 2070 is less capable than a 1080ti for DCS. There are several good videos that should alleviate concerns for even buying a prior mining card. It seems that there is more concern about buying from a HC gamer that could have damaged the card from OC. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I formerly served on USMC LAV-25’s as a crewman and gunner. The LAV is very similar in armor to the BMP, BRDM and BTR. We were immune from penetration of .30 cal rounds no matter how fast you shot them at us. Granted the tires/run flat inserts could potentially be shredded to the point of immobilization. A .30 is just going to give the crew a headache, till they spot the source of fire and rain down 25mm till the threat is neutralized. I am not going to be specific but we could withstand up to .50 cal under most circumstances. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Well, I have a long history in this hobby over many software titles that can’t be named. I had a break over a couple years due to career requirements and jumping into the money pit of general aviation by getting my private pilots license and co-owing a plane ( and you folks think DCS is expensive. LOL.) I came back to sims to escape from the pain that leads to my handle. Spinal fusion is a sure fire way to lose your medical. I was amazed at how much sims have improved. This community is amazingly supportive with so many sharing the wealth of their knowledge. ED is creating a wealth of modules and terrains over the history of military aviation, all flyable within the same environment. That alone is a monumental task given how quickly technology changes. Very few titles have ever offered this. Ed gives consideration to pit builders and VR advancements. Is there room for improvement? Sure! Usually, we get an update every two weeks. Do they always fix what I think or wanted to get fixed? Nope. But, generally someone’s expectation gets met. Do I get frustrated? Yep! Overall, every time I am in the air, I am amazed over what has been created and look forward to future. That’s the positive outlook and should not be construed as mitigating my frustration over long awaited features being implemented in the Viper before the Hornet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

OB Update Delayed Well, is this semantics? I’ve got money invested in both the Hornet and Viper modules. It takes development to deliver features and ED seems be developing and delivering new features expected in the Hornet into the Viper first. That is very concerning to Hornet owners. I can understand bringing the Viper to parity with the Hornet and then developing them simultaneously to share development milestones. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

We weren’t scheduled to get a Hornet update today. Let’s hope this delay brings TWS to the Hornet at the same time as the Viper. Keep the faith and hope ED is working to improve perceptions. Fingers crossed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

We need the D Variant Para A response: I do fly the Hornet, then I fly in a Tomcat that is handicapped by a HUD that could be more capable and stay within the range of a B variant in the time frame DCS extends to. Lots of folks want an F-4 Phantom (me too) but what does it do that other models don’t. Do you want the most capable F-4 or the least capable variant. I vote for the most capable variant within the timeframe of DCS world. I would love to have the F-14 A/B, B+ and D to learn in-depth the history of the aircraft more fully. Para B response: Yep, it has a different role than the Hornet, still want the most capable variant possible since they are flying in the same airspace. Para C response: There are items that are still classified in the Hornet that have been omitted and it is still a viable module for the environment. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
