Is RAZBAM or ED reading this section or the Bugs section?
Fusedspine33 replied to eddyimac's topic in AV-8B N/A
YOU need to stop telling people how to feel, what to expect and what is an appropriate gripe. YOU can feel however you want, YOu should feel free to argue a point or debate a topic but attempting to tell another what to feel and expect is just toxic bullying. Take a look at the last stable change log (covers 6 months of updates) the Harrier received less than a quarter of the updates that went to any other EA module of equal complexity. There were 171 bugs in the bug tracker, many over a year old that were acknowledged by Razbam and promises made to resolve. Entitled is the same word used by Zambrano. Yes, I am entitled to expect continued updates and bug fixes on a continual basis, that was what was promised when I paid upfront for the product. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
[NO IT IS A RAZBAM PROJECT]Is ED involved now in Harrier development?

Let’s hope so. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
I tried several different size stick extensions before finding this one from Virpil. I was convinced that cutting into my chair was going to be the only solution. The curve and length allows me to place the base lower than the seat bottom and it provides full deflection without unnatural/uncomfortable body movement. https://virpil-controls.eu/vpc-flightstick-extension-200mm.html Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Two years and less than 1/4 of the updates made to other ED and third party modules indicates a measure of abandonment. The money was paid upfront with the assurance that continued development would follow and it isn’t happening at a pace that would indicate they intend to finish the products in a timely fashion. 171 items on the community bug tracker all with links to forum posts. A bug tracker that had to be created because they can’t be bothered to monitor and address items brought forward by EA users in the format instituted and utilized by ED and other third parties. Some of the items on the list have been acknowledged by them and not in addressed in over a year. They have a history of deleting bug reports without fixing them, engaging in snarky posts (then deleting them), abusing admin privileges and failing to be forthright in communicating a cohesive message across multiple social platforms as to what paying customers can expect in regard to module development. There are some F-18 specific commands listed toward the end of this thread that may serve as a solution for several key assignment issues in the module. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89226 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

There are many platforms and the popular “winners” would hopefully see native support. There are lots of HMDs that promised the moon and didn’t quite deliver that are like equivalent of Linux for VR. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

So...this was what I was hinting at. I started with the Oculus CV1 and getting it going was a very simple install of the base software and off I went flying. The Rift S went right into service the same way. Those 5000+ posts of tweaking, twerking, fumbling, frustration and lack of intuitive setup make spending the $600 a bit much of a project dealing with Windows WMR, Steam VR, Nvidia and DCS. However I am very interested in the added clarity the 4K displays will provide. The original post from Wags seemed to indicate much of this could be eliminated with true DCS native support. This weeks patch added native support for the Varjo VR headset. That is an understandable move given the professional licensing available for commercial users. Almost a year ago @Wags stated he was going to seek having native support for the Reverb added to DCS world While the Reverb HMD has gone thru some issues a newer V2 is coming that addresses some of those growing pains. Can native Reverb support be added that eliminates the need for multiple sub program tweaks and excessive headaches with the windows WMR environment? The thread here on the forums for the Reverb is at 5697 posts. So it isn’t easy to get the “best” headset running easily. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3937415&postcount=1080 Thanks. DCS World Patch Notes Discussion Thread 10-22 misunderstood when responding to a post

DCS World Patch Notes Discussion Thread Question on the Varjo addition to native support. This announcement was a big surprise. But....5000-12000 for a head set is well outside of enthusiast level expenditure. With the Reverb G2 announcement, is there any news available from @wags, @bignewy or @ nineline on the native support for the reverb from this post last year? https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3937415&postcount=1080 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Switch doesn’t physically move left on the real stick, because it isn’t used. Reproduction sticks use readily available (less expensive) 4 and 5 way switches to keep costs down. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It's arrived!! Some comments and questions A Kreg jig makes complex millwork much easier and faster than doweling, biscuit, tenon or lap joins. With the correct glue the wood will fail before the glue joint. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

First thoughts on the Winwing F18 HOTAS Thank you! I bought the throttle only and then realized I never had this question answered.

Andrew, Can you install and use the throttle without the switch panel attached? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Full fidelity Russian as next module?
Fusedspine33 replied to carss's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
Well call it the Mg-28 and leave out references to the manufacturer. I don’t really care what the name is. There is always a workaround. It would just need to be created by a third party not in Russia. -
Full fidelity Russian as next module?
Fusedspine33 replied to carss's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
Seems like this guy should have some manuals, he owns 4 MiG-29 planes in the US. Would he share and would it be enough info for a 3rd party to create a full fidelity module? https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/32869/this-man-owns-the-worlds-most-advanced-private-air-force-after-buying-46-f-a-18-hornets
