I remember setting it to MAN Reversion but I had a very difficult time with control on the way down. Even people in recon Stewart's YouTube video comments mentioned the same. I had no idea that you could bail out and still win.

I have those campaigns too and was waiting for these missions to be out while doing maple flag missions. I got all the way to the tactical training campaign and stopped there a long time ago. I remember the emergency landing mission when I had to do it there was a bug where the jet became completely unresponsive with only left hydraulic failure. I think that's been fixed though by now. I remember testing out the missions Baltic made for this training and they are top notch; the instructions are clear, concise and the instructor is super accommodating. So I can't wait for them to be out as well. With all the modules that have come out I miss being in the hog. Definitely need a refresher so I can continue the enemy within 3.0 too.

Do you by chance require glasses or corrective vision? Just wondering because I have to wear contacts or use prescription lens inserts when I had the Odyssey to see clearly. Same thing now with my reverb, I need to wear my contacts until I order lens inserts for it.

Loving the training missions so far. Full of detail and make learning the module a lot of fun. I'll do some of them over and over just to get everything right. Had bought the harrier a while ago but had not touched it until now. Glad I waited and now we have these trainings.

You can run it with a 1080 but turn settings down. I have a 1080ti and 32gb of ram and it runs fine for me. I use mostly high settings in dcs.

Do you use ovgme to install it or just place it in liveries folder?

Eagerly waiting for this ever since I've heard of it. I just wish the new cockpit textures also arrive by then.

Yea I need to do this too. I just wear my contacts but late during the day those have to come off. I know some point in Feb or March I will renew my contacts prescription so I'm unsure if I should wait and get my new prescription or just use what I've had since this year.

I've got gamma at 1.7 or 1.8 but I may need to bump it up.

Same, uninstalled and reinstalled wmr and steam vr thinking there was some issue with my Reverb. Turns out this is how it is. Going through the trainings but I can't really tell what is what. Cockpit is still a bit dark too.

Yea without the mod it is definitely darker. The mod does make it a bit brighter but still not enough to see anything on the left side upper part of the radio panel. I agree that the new textures do not work well with the mod since the pics from the mod don't look like what I'm seeing. I'll try without the mod and just jack up the contrast to see if that does anything.

Nope I hopped back in the mirage yesterday. Very dark even with the clear brighter mod. I'm in VR on a HP reverb so can't talk about screen contrast. I guess I will need to try increasing the gamma more?

I'm having the a similar issue with the tfrp rudders. I can bind the axis and I see them moving in controls but they don't respond in the sim when I try to go left or right. Toe brakes work fine.

Nope it's only if you normally wear glasses or contacts to correct your vision.

Not sure but it's as if you are wearing your glasses. It really depends how the lenses are built to fit the reverb.

I plan on doing the view.lua file change for the fix but you could use right Ctrl + shift numpad keys to shift your view temporarily and save it with 0 I think.

Yea this is why I always wear my contacts in vr. People think they don't need to use their glasses because it's up close but this isn't the case. I just wish I didn't have to spend an additional $80 for snap on lenses for each headset.

Man I gotta say the reverb with the JF 17's giant screens is awesome. So easy to see and use everything there.

Probably because Europe and UK have better warranty policies for consumers in general.

Not sure what country you are referring to. But in US both pro and consumer have 1 year warranty.

I had one that always stayed in the same spot. It just shined there like a green star. I had to contact hp and return the headset to order a new one. The new one hasn't exhibited this.

That's unfortunate, luckily I don't see the same issues in performance with my 1080ti. Nvidia will be releasing the 3080 series in June. I'll definitely be getting a 3080ti as soon as the aftermarket cards are out.

Go to settings then click the tab all the way on the right for VR. Uncheck enable VR headset.
