Yea I tried FedEx delivery manager but it had my old address associated with it since it's been forever since I got soemthing from FedEx. They want to send me a piece of mail with a code to verify my current address and that takes 3-5 days lol. I hope FedEx will redeliver Thursday because I plan on working from home.

My Reverb should be delivered tomorrow. But I won't be home to accept the delivery since I have to be at work, they are swapping my dev PC at work so I have to be there. I live in a fairly safe complex but it looks like the delivery requires signature through FedEx.

I would not buy this headset used. Only way is through the serial number. You can find a thread about it on Reddit.

My world scale ipd is set to 63.5 and the other modules look fine. Not sure how that 63.5 got there in the first place. But in the viper cockpit I do feel a bit squished. I also notice that I can't clearly see the warning lights on some of the switches you have to run during startup. This may change when I get the Reverb this week hopefully.

Yea I had to do same with the rift and my Odyssey. The innatek card is sitting in the closet now. It caused lots of instability issues with my PC after I installed it. The startek one has individual busses for full bandwidth. Although I don't think I want to plug the reverb that's coming into it with all the USB issues people have been talking about. I may just use my powered USB 3.0 hub if the cable reaches up to the desk.

Well that's good to hear. A buddy of mine ordered from best buy and he should get his Wednesday. I hope he gets one of the latest models and doesn't have any issues.

Those of you that ordered direct from HP, how long did it take to get the headset? Website from US says ships in 1 business day. The order status page says I should get it by Oct 14th..kind of a while for 3 business days shipping.

I remember one review on YouTube. I think it was ACG who mentioned the amazon basics extension cable worked. But I suppose it depends on what you're doing and what application or game you want to run in VR. For the $90 adapter I suppose you could order it if you have Amazon prime and return it if it does not work for you. Amazon returns are no hassle.

Only time I experienced this was with the odyssey and rift CV1 and that was because they have an adjustable lense dial which moved lenses further away or closer to each other and I had it set wrong. That's what it sounds like from your description but more software related since reverb doesn't have adjustable ipd.

Does it occur for every application? Have you tried resetting the view by running setup again in wmr?

I think the yellow text on the MFD is easier to see. The font seems to be similar.

I've got a reverb on the way so we shall see how it looks after. In the original odyssey it didn't look it's best like the f18 and f14.

I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like but I know blacks are supposed to appear more grey. Have you tried messing with the gamma in dcs options? It looks like it could be high.

Congrats on the kid! I can only imagine how hectic things are even though I don't have kids. I'm running a i7 8700k, 32gb ram and 1080ti slightly over locked. Mostly high settings in dcs right now except shadows low and the extra effects off like heat blur, civ traffic, etc. Everything else high. Coming from the original Odyssey I'm sure it will be a big step up. I've been keeping an eye on this thread ever since the reverb was announced. I actually stopped flying at that point because I told myself I would get a new headset. Well after all the issues and not liking how the launch went, I waited to see if they would fix the issues and it seems they may have as long as you order direct from HP. First thing I plan on doing is uninstalling wmr from windows, removing steam vr and it's wmr app, then rebooting and plugging the headset in so that everything gets set up fresh. I too am confused with all the steam Super sample options available so I hope I don't have to mess too much with it. I'm assuming if I stay on stable steam vr that it would automatically pick a sampling percentage close to the native resolution. This way I plan on putting the pixel density option in dcs back to 1.0 from 1.5 which I use now with the odyssey.

I ordered the pro version of the reverb from the US HP store. My girlfriend has a student discount active with them through Unidays website so she had a coupon code which she wasn't going to use that saved me around $65. If any of you are interested install the honey add on for chrome or Firefox. This morning it found me a coupon for the hp store but I accidentally closed out the browser before I finally decided to pull the trigger. Looking forward to getting back to flying in dcs. Is anyone using the Samsung odyssey controllers with the reverb? I am going to put my Odyssey for sale soon but I don't know if I can sell the hp controllers with it or if they will work with the Odyssey?

Hmm ok. I'm ordering tonight but I can't decide if the leather face thing would be more comfortable. I have the odyssey right now and it's so uncomfortable for long flights.

Yea probably more comfortable for your face. I thought one of them came with a longer cable but I guess not. Does anyone have the consumer model? How does it compare to the pro?

Does it really show up like that upside-down? The dcs window when you boot up in VR is normal. You have to click into the window or use window key + Y to switch to the window. Then press alt+enter to go full screen. Your mouse is going out the game because you aren't focusing on the dcs window. Alt + enter gets you full screen but you have to click into the window first or select focus to it with Windows key +y.

Does changing the x saturation and curve in the F16 sim controls section change it for every other airframe? I would imagine it only binds it for the f16 ?

I'm about to order the reverb now. Same config as you and I also plan on getting only the next Ti model. Got back in the original odyssey with the Viper and just seemed off from what I remember. For sure I know the reverb visuals will be better. I measured my ipd with an app on my girlfriend's iPhone and it came to 62-62.1mm so it should be fine. Good to know it works well with the 1080ti. I run dcs in all high settings now except low shadows and no msaa. Good enough for the original odyssey so it should be decent for Reverb too.

What would you say is the appropriate Steam SS for the original odyssey? I tried default at 100% and then there is application tab which if I check that it defaults to 150% for my 1080ti. I can't tell if I noticed anything different. But then I have to run dcs and select that as the application. Whereas the default video tab I think sets it for everything?

It's one of the UHF radio dials, was not reset to volume of zero it seems on the cold start training. Once I turn that knob down the radio static goes away.

I agree with you. The other airframes look fine for me too in my Odyssey. I would just choose one SS solution. My steam vr is stable edition with default values. 100% and I use 1.5 PD in dcs. Some people enable custom resolution by checking the box under the steam vr video tab and move that slider to match their hmd native resolution or as close as possible to it. I have not messed with that. Deleting the shaders folders seemed to help a bit but I still have a hard time with the MFD's obviously and most of the pilot's button labels.

It's the UHF radio volume. I'm using VR so I had some issues reading all the labels on the left console but to the left of the ils tone volume is a knob for the UHF volume. Spin that to the left and the white noise goes aways. It's like it was cranked up to the highest and left on a bad frequency. I agree it should not be happening.
