  5. OK, please tell what is your idea for this ? How it can be done so it's not too good ? I don't wanna whine, im just frustrated because i fell so blind sometimes even i have track ir and triple display etc.. Peace. :joystick: Just tested, max where i can spot tank in Open field in dcs in good wheater is about 4,5 miles. Sometimes 5miles if fov is not too wide. -Haukka81
  6. Are you Trolling or what ? Maybe draw faraway objects as black or grey (fighters) or green (tank's , etc..) DOT's. Or use somekind scaling (like in old sims) But maybe edge will bring something to this.
  7. Really, i know that. But thas why we must compensate our view in sims, dot's,labes or some other thing's :)
  8. Well , you just always come with new exuses, now they are hiding. Maybe it's better get them smart so they will hide. now they "hide" only because they are not drawn very far if your fov is even somewhat close to real life :music_whistling: And even if you don't use red firetruck it's still hard to spot tank in runway.. if you are so smart why you don't tell us how thats realistic ? But fine, its your sim and you set the rules.

Maybe, but in RL we still see planes etc.. better than in current dcs world Problem is that even tank or plane painted in red is hard to see in dcs, sure you can zoom in but then you have soda stream style fov.. thats not real too :( Tell us how that is realistic ? no pod can change that fact that we cant see even close what we can see in real life WHEN using MARK ONE EYEBALL . And stupid ground AI was reason why ground units were sitting ducks in LOMAC Don't tell paintings and colors... oh, and its easy to test: put red firetruck in tarmac in dcs, then try to spot it from far without zooming 5deg fov ;) In real life i can spot firetruck in tarmac WAYYY longer distance than ever in dcs.. so tell us why there is no need to compensate low res of monitors (even 4k is low) ' -haukka81
  10. No fighter can't survive from direct hit. :music_whistling: (maybe A-10 but it's not fighter ) Damage model is there for proximity hit's or guns etc..
  11. This sim needs better dot system, or labels that will be taken from host so all players are in same line in multiplayer (and they can't be seen trough clouds etc) Period. There is nothing more to say for that. Fanboys can argue all day long but it wont change fact that without labes it's now like blind paraolympics in air. Even best monitors can't help it out.
  12. Because it would be too easy solution. Realsim junkies don't like if virtual pilots are not blind like some kind of airborne paraolympics :lol::lol: Dot's like in IL-2 would be good. (custom labes are not so good solution, because they won't be same for all in mp and those are visible trough clouds etc..) ' Maybe edge will bring help to this, some kind dot/lod thing :thumbup:

It's mechanical fault , just qooqle bit and you see why.. cheap engineering =saitek :music_whistling: " The concept of the stick (stock) is millimetric planed ...the problem is the non-so millimetric acurate production quality, meaning that the magent holding "hat" (as seen in picture below) is only pushed over the shaft and due to resistance by the cables (if moving) it sometimes shakes resulting in an off-center phenomon. I noticed it the first time as i opened the HUD software and released the stick back to middle but the "cross" was not centered. THAT is the problem on the stock.   16. It runs fine if you have Nvidia Gpu (660 is fine) Amd sucks badly in current dcs engine. Just search bit and you know why to go with nvidia with dcs :) -haukka81

  19. Grease gears , but its just first aid to crap logitech quality.. plastic and metal gears so metal will eat plastic gears sooner or later :(
  20. Cheap pot's in throtle, why saitek is so stupid that won't use hall sensors in throtle. :mad:
  21. Looks nice , sad that saitek won't learn form mistakes. No hall sensors on throtle so it will spike sooner or later.
  22. Res is poor, 960x1080p = back to 90's :( I really hope that there will be true high res option , little numbers in hud etc.. can be pain to see otherwise :/
  23. 33, Married. Get first simming experience from Falcon AT (80's) and later from Strike Eagle 3. (90's) Then somewhere 94-96 there was tornado etc.. But It was 1997 i think when it really got me...-> A-10Cuba was my holy grail. Rest is history :)
