It wont mater even you can run dcs 4k res , RIFT is limited it's native Resolution 1920x1080p (and its halved so you get even less efective resolution. ) You won't see targets any better if dcs won't scale targets to unrealistic big size or use dot's (not gonna happen) or get CV version of rift with higer res (may happen) :book: Curent CV 2 resolution is so low that you fly like blind. -> Same kind vision in real life and you can't get drvier license ever :D:D

Updates like this are things that got me back to dcs from bms , for now :joystick: DCS has lots of potential, some tuning for UI = better briefings pre mission screens -> more immersion => perfect sim (IMHO) But nice to see so much bug's fixed and new things added. :thumbup::thumbup:

Nope, if you select say 512 everyframe it renders same fps as game, BUT if you take just 512 it renders MFD just half of your frame rate. (MFD Updates every second frame only ) Trust me, i know this. :thumbup:

Just forget all sellers propaganda like 2.5 or 8millisecond etc,, things. 2ms monitor can be slower than 5ms monitor because those are just marketing things and response time is measured at the manufacture and each manufacture does it "kind of" differently. ;) Just read this and you be much smarter http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/response_time.htm :) Btr.value is same thing, can't be sure. Windows 7 is best this far, same install about 3year's for now and zero problems so far. Maybe i get windows 10 for next -haukka81

Same here, DV2 res is way too low, 1080p is not even near what we need. 4k would be better. Just my toughts after DV2.

I may be late but take high res monitor if you can. 1080 is not good vertical res for flight sims where targets are fast And small , i have now 2560x1440 ips And it Really makes spotting targets easier.
