Some version of PatrolRoute is what you seek. It DOES work for ships. ;-) CONTROLLABLE:PatrolRoute() (GROUND) Patrol iteratively using the waypoints the for the (parent) group. CONTROLLABLE:PatrolRouteRandom(Speed, Formation, ToWaypoint) (GROUND) Patrol randomly to the waypoints the for the (parent) group. CONTROLLABLE:PatrolZones(ZoneList, Speed, Formation) (GROUND) Patrol randomly to the waypoints the for the (parent) group.

A large and often overlooked component of this has to do with how a person sets up their controls. If you have your throttle and stick sitting on a desk to the left and right of your keyboard, where you are "freehanding" the cyclic you'll always be struggling. Helicopter sticks are in the middle because that's where your finer motion skills are performed the easiest. The closer your flight controls are to resembling an actual helicopter, the better off you're going to be. Aside of having good training content like this, controls set up should be emphasized more.

I used the destroy/spawn trick to simulate recovering a helicopter that has landed but is mostly intact. Snake Doc mission (helo recovery) Having received a sling load of repair parts and a mechanical crew, I destroy the first one, which was spawned takeoff from ground with 0 fuel and spawn the replacement which is a takeoff from ground. It spools up, and heads home.

Thanks, that's hard to ignore. It would also dovetail off the Caucasus map technically speaking, in that many of the structures and textures can be reused since it's literally just West of it.

I vote yes. Give us a way to turn it on and off in the config. While you're at it, please add a binding for the gunner's seat on the minigun model. There's a hack but this should be there by default. -
Does this work with a late activated unit?

Static templates will get you pretty close to where you want to be. Get the map how you want it, then save static template. Load it when you start a new mission and it will place all the objects there for you. Air traffic as stated is a more complicated thing.

We have a way in WMR now to bring other apps into VR. I wonder if this is a possibility somehow with the NS430.

Thanks, I want to know exactly what the Russian words are that they are saying when giving all the sling load instructions. A transcript of that. I can't really make out all the words accurately. For the sake of furthering what little knowledge of Russian I have and passing this on to my team.

Also wanted to say make sure you windows "features" are updated to latest. This is separate from the basic windows update. Go to settings to see this. They made some changes that rely on that. I wondered my my frames were suffering. Once I updated this (it was a long update too), I am seeing a nice performance bump.

I have an open report on this in the AI section. It's been open for some time but they are just getting to it now. If you pardon the pun, this theory holds water. I can influence the behavior by changing the script, but I can't make it totally go away. The last boat being invincible is the best I can do. Thanks again for your attention to this. Having these boats work is a key feature for many prescient scenarios on the PG map. I'll look for Grimes' report and contribute any way I can assist. -
Glad I saw this thread. I hadn't updated my windows "features" and I was experiencing lower frame rates when they did this. Once I did the features update, it's been running better than ever. Lesson learned.

Buy it at that price, because you'll never see it lower than that. At least not up to now. I got mine Black Friday same price. It seems like that's the lowest it will go.
