  2. I'm sure this has been discussed before but I can't find it. I'm looking for a list of the Russian phrases that are used to guide sling load ops. e.g. "груз 10 м разкачка " Load is swinging 10 m
  3. Also wanted to say make sure you windows "features" are updated to latest. This is separate from the basic windows update. Go to settings to see this. They made some changes that rely on that. I wondered my my frames were suffering. Once I updated this (it was a long update too), I am seeing a nice performance bump.

  5. I have an open report on this in the AI section. It's been open for some time but they are just getting to it now. BIGNEWY stated that this appears to be connected to a scripting engine issue reported by Grimes having to deal with ships. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3993633#post3993633 So hopefully we get some traction.
  6. If you pardon the pun, this theory holds water. I can influence the behavior by changing the script, but I can't make it totally go away. The last boat being invincible is the best I can do. Thanks again for your attention to this. Having these boats work is a key feature for many prescient scenarios on the PG map. I'll look for Grimes' report and contribute any way I can assist.
  7. Glad I saw this thread. I hadn't updated my windows "features" and I was experiencing lower frame rates when they did this. Once I did the features update, it's been running better than ever. Lesson learned.
  8. Buy it at that price, because you'll never see it lower than that. At least not up to now. I got mine Black Friday same price. It seems like that's the lowest it will go.
  9. Even the ability to occupy a seat in an Mi-8 or UH-1h and control nothing would be a good start. It would help so much for training people to fly these to be able to counsel them in the moment. This is still useful one bite at a time.

  13. Double checked this again. Dropped a GBU-12 right on one, and also sent an AGM-65E at it. It cannot be killed in MP.
  14. If you run with --norender --webgui your AI will no longer detect enemies and will not fire. The work around has been to run the server in traditional GUI mode, which isn't nearly as good performance wise.

  16. Create a GROUP object off of the SPAWN object with GROUP:FindByName("groupname") Create a ZONE at the concerned waypoint. and in a scheduler (or trigger in the ME) monitor for the presence of that group in the zone, then perform whatever action you want. That's how I'd do it.
  17. https://github.com/jweisner/DCS-FAC We use this to create the behavior of having a human-flown 342 detect and lase targets. Our engineering wizard modified it to make it more realistic and have the detection only in the front 180.

  19. How can we get the bindings for the coolie hat back? They seem to just not be there anymore, and the coolie hat keystrokes have no effect (e.g. HUD == SOI).
  20. A circular menu system like that would be hella cool. But for now, using voice attack is the best solution I have found for right now.

  22. This is a really bizarre effect that is only reproducible in MP. This doesn't occur in SP. If you put the bone stock 'armed speedboat' or any mod thereof into MP and shoot it, it will frequently fail to completely die. It may partially disappear though. Sometimes you'll be left with only the wake traveling around, shooting at you. Other times, the crew will be gone from the boat, which will still be there shooting at you. But it absolutely cannot be fully killed. Screenshots of bizzarity included. Let me know if I can provide further information in any way.
  23. Yes, the OSA class boats are a mod. But boats may be screwed up altogether. There's STILL a bug where the armed speedboats cannot be killed in multiplayer. I filed it a long time ago.
  24. Not the same thing, thank you for clarifying. I'm observing black artifacts in NVG's in so far the Huey and the 342. ETA - this was due to a very low cloud layer I had configured. There's no issue with NVG's here.
