Helicopters cause and experience wake turbulence pretty much the same as fixed wing. Hopefully they will apply it to them as well.

I'd be interested to see it as a civil helicopter but the Army pilots I know who fly it hate. It's underpowered and under performs for what the Army uses it for and how they equip it. They also have problems with the avionics over heating and shutting off in desert environments and its unarmed. On the other hand it would be great for civilian EMS, police, VIP, or oil rig missions.

I'd like one but ED has said no many times.

No pre-orders have been made so no need to stick to that schedule if they found something that needs polish.

For a campaign perhaps you could take a museum relic approach? Two smaller fictional nations with antiquated airforces with some modern support from major powers? It might be relatively easy to flip it and sell it from the other sides perspective with the F-5 playable.

It's a nice idea but the amount of effort it would take would be pretty significant. Anf if I remember right didn't heatblur say they'd like to do an Iranian F-14? I don't think they promised one.

Of course the Tornado would be ideal but it's probably not doable based on 3 developers saying they want to do it and nothing coming of any of them. So if we can only have one that isn't the Tornado I'd vote Jaguar.

Mods are great for some people but should not be a crutch for developers. I pay for the game and assets so I don't have to sort through and maintain the mods. Especially when they inevitably break after an update. And as was said above. Trying to coordinate a squad to make sure they all have the same version of a list of mods to run a mission is a nightmare.

I'd definitely buy it.
