  1. If they want to make the French version to draw more people in great. But it's the Vietnam version I want to buy.
  2. Charge me whatever you want for an A-6 module...
  3. I've hit M2.0 clean at 29,000. Was drag racing a 15 that was able to slowly pull away.
  4. point track update
  5. Well as much i'd like to see that as well, I don't think it's realistic. Either heatblur is neck deep in the A-6 or the 14 is the last we see of them in DCS due to the Meta acquisition. Hopefully that isn't the case:cry:
  6. I hope that Dev's see how much people are enjoying the RIO spot and it gives them the confidence to make an E-2 or similar.
  7. So I'm able to hook targets on the TID with the HCU while in track while scan. To single target track I switch the HCU to radar mode and use the DDD. It can still be difficult though. I was going nuts trying to lock a mig-29 but it turns out it was skimming a ridge line and I kept losing line of sight, so there could always be something like that going on.
  8. Yes, haha. Which has been quite obnoxious by the way in my squadron. I'm thinking about changing my name. Jester wasn't even a RIO in the movie heatblur! I guess I could go with Viper, Tom Skerritt is pretty cool, but Michael Ironside is cooler. Edit: Forgot my squadron already has a viper.
  9. Only way I've beaten him is by flying a canyon at full burner until he hits a wall...
  10. I bought this only expecting to be the pilot. Well I decided I should have an understanding of what my RIO was doing and now I can't believe how much fun I'm having as RIO. Flying multicrew and having someone depending on you to do your job so they can do theirs is so satisfying.
  11. I agree with you Chuck and I really hope to see the 101 and AvioDev be successful. It's great for training purposes and fun in its own right when doing light attack/coin operations. Really looking forward to see their F-1 come to life!
  12. Yes please.
  13. Is that modeled? I thought I read on the forum somewhere it's glide only.
  14. That's great to hear Baltic. I certainly love flying her, looking forward to having her systems mature.
  15. +1
  16. The F-16 shouldn't take as long as most DCS modules because it will be very similar to the Hornet as far as systems go. So as long as you stick around another year or 2 you should be good :)
  17. I have a heavily over clocked 1080FE that's water cooled. I don't have any problems reading gauges in the cockpit but I have heard some people complain that. Best looking cockpit so far. I occasionally drop a few frames, but its not enough to irritate me. If you dont already though make sure you open the oculus debug tool and use it to disable asynchronus spacewarp. It helps DCS VR in all modules, especially when your low to the ground and the wing tips start to stutter/blur.
  18. It is hypoxia and I missed it on the assisted startup as well. theres an oxygen switch toward the left rear of the cockpit by some hoses on your seat. Hopefully someone else can be more helpful with its location.
  19. Thats weird, haven't experienced that with any multicrew module.
  20. Two Cat's with talds, two Hornets with harms, one SA-10 battery with TOR protection... Who will win?
  21. They said on discord it will have no back seat AI because the pilot can handle everything from the front seat. They have said it will be open to human wso's though.
  22. It's a lot of fun to fly with the VTOL, but I cant give it a recommendation in its current state. It can be hard to figure out whats user error, a bug, or not implemented yet. The mirage is a lot of fun and has some air to ground capabilities but is mostly air to air. If you want air to ground the A-10C is the gold standard. It can be intimidating to learn but doing the training missions will get you close enough and finding a squadron to fly with online thats willing to help you learn will get you the rest of the way. Viggen is also a lot of fun for strike missions but its a get in and get out plane, not for loitering over the target plinking tanks.
  23. Also getting online with some people who like to helping out is great way to learn. Browse some of the squadrons and see if any might help you out.
  24. I hear there's rubber dog shit that needs to find it's way out of Hong Kong too.
