  1. ATFLIR is WIP. Litening 2 was already present in game (A-10C and Harrier 2) and is also in use for several Hornet users (Marines amongst them). It's there waiting for ATFLIR, but I think we will have the choice. No reason to remove Lietning once ATFLIR is ready.
  2. There is one thing to notice when engaging HQ-7, I had STR radar on RWR, I destroyed it with HARM. But I was engaged without RWR warning. The HQ-7 LN were probably using optical tracking, which gives no warning without MLWS, and won't attract HARM on HQ-7 LN :music_whistling: +1 with SOI issue. Sensor Control Switch affect SOI amongst DDI, MPCD and HUD. On DDI & MPCD this is displayed with diamond displayed on top right corner.
  3. Never had an issue other than not SOI on HARM page...which was my fault :D
  4. Read post #2 and watch post #4. It isn't on Razbam. M-2000C and F-16 airframes break at X G force as needed. Currently wake turbulence generate a ridiculous amount of G force and slaughter FPS if numerous aircrafts are in flight. We are better without it.
  5. AGM-65E :smilewink:
  6. +1  It's needed because we don't have hardware with return to center axis. Optional off course.
  7. It seems to be fixed in Open Beta at least. CNM neutral return to previous mode from MAG or CAN. If you had 530 selected you have to unselect by clicking PCA button.
  8. If I pre-select TWS and azimuth steering AUTO on OSB13, without L&S target, radar elevation axis become inoperative. I don’t know if it normal of it’s a bug ? If you start to crank after locking a target in TWS without AUTO, you can easily loose the track. Pre-selecting AUTO would ease the work load. It’s logical to not have radar elevation control with L&S target, but why not with clear scope ?
  9. Tuning up SYM button on top right corner can help a little bit.
  10. Wow, this thread and your YouTube channel are gold mines. Thank you very much
  11. The problem is that they simulated a spring loaded return to center axis, but no HOTAS on the market has that kind of axis (at best Winwing HOTAS, but that's >800$).:music_whistling:
  12. Do you mean that Weapon SystemCMD FWD to go into attack mode becomes ineffective?
  13. Yes it does. Also the radar cursor lock is now pretty much ok in PPI as explained by Zeus67. I just had difficulty near the edge in PPI, but not a big deal.
  14. I would dare to say that high drag bombs are not really made to be released in dive. In the Mirage 2000 they made a choice: - high drag = CCPI - low drag = CCPL When I am in simulated US fighters, if I use high drag bombs, I perform low altitude level release too. Go watch Jaguar A releasing high drag bombs at 5'24", the speaker talks about 80m and 1000km/h. Different aircrafts, same attack profiles :smilewink:
  15. From the manual: 300ft/ 500kt level flight will do just fine.:smilewink:
  16. Your parking brake ?
  17. No kidding :megalol:
  18. I saw it on F-16 too. These wake turbulence can cause up to 25G, which is totally ridiculous. That's on ED, and the best is to disable it for now. It's doing more bad than good.
  19. The default gamma is 2, maybe a monitor calibration issue ?
  20. 4. turn on cockpit lights :smartass:
  21. It went un-noticed, but the radar elevation control is working pretty ok now. We can trust again the min/ max altitudes next to radar cursor. That's not perfect yet, the radar still sweeps every line when moving elevation up, but it's a good improvement for radar work
  22. I just replaced my X55 stick with WarBRD base + TM Hornet stick. I will be interested by you thought about CM2 Throttle. Thanks :smilewink:
  23. Yes, I already said it in my first post. :smilewink: But it would be nice to adapt to users HOTAS, not everyone can afford real life HOTAS replica.
  24. Sure I fought about it, but my buttons are all mapped already, and I don't like to use shift function, I like to keep it simple. Plus it would leave 2 un-used axis on the throttle. :smilewink:
  25. Hi, I have one problem with this axis. I'm using a X55 and assigned this axis on a rotary. The problem is that in DCS, this axis is designed for "return to center" axis. So after changing elevation I have to manually return to center, which makes me fight my HOTAS. I understand this is probably like that on the real Hornet throttle, but apart maybe Winwing 800$+ HOTAS, who has this kind of axis on desktop HOTAS ? Please add conventional radar elevation control, with elevation proportional to axis position. Thanks.
