Unfortunately I will be away till the end of January When I go home I will try the spitfire and tell you if on my system it works or not. But I guess if it's a problem introduced with 2.5.4 they will fix it. May be you can send a bug report to them, it would definitely help I guess.

Hello adrianstealth Yes I use simtools, my motion rig is a fasetech racingcube and with dcs 2.5.3 just before the 2.5.4 update the spit was working perfectly I haven't tried it with 2.5.4 What I tried with the 2.5.4 and it doesn't work is the C101, do you have that module?

Hello Vibora Do you have any idea why the c101 doesn't output data to motion platforms? Is it something still not implemented may be? No rush but i just want to know if i need to continue troubleshooting or i just need to wait if not implemented yet

Last time i tried the spitfire with my motion platform it was working perfectly and that was with dcs 2.5.3 before the update I haven't used the spitfire after the 2.5.4 so i don't know now But before the update i can confirm you it was working. I can't check it now, i'm away for work

Anybody tried the c101 with a motion platform? It's the only aircraft with which the motion doesn't work Any thoughts?

The only thing that keeps me from ordering right now is that it could be a lot of time before they actually ship the pre-orders. They said they will ship the preorders after all the backers headsets are shipped. Whilst I think this is right, I’m discouraged by the amount of time they are taking to produce and ship to backers right now.

@Eight Ball Beautiful video... It gave me an idea, if they fixed the CA view in Vr and gave us a pilot who can enter and exit the cockpit we could create a mission/briefing than take the car and travel from the briefing room/building to the flight line, leave the car and enter the aircraft to start the flight. I know this is absolutely at the bottom of priorities but it would add so much to the immersion...

Guys any thought about the 5kBE? They continue to say it was developed for business and that it is inferior to the 5k+ and 8k, they say the sde is inferior to the others and it has ghosting and other issues... Why do they even sell it? And at a higher price even? Does it make sense to you? To me not so much... They initially kept it secret and then they screwed and in some way its existence leaked, and after it leaked they said that they would make it available to bakers at an additional cost. I start thinking that they kept it relatively secret because if backers all wanted it, it would be a greater cost for the company. I read a post on reddit of people trying it in the last meet-up and they were sayin: Better colours No ghosting or other apparent problems True that the sde is worse than 5k+ but only slightly and still better than vive pro and Samsung odissey. I wrote this post simply to ask for others thoughts and impression Just trying to decide which is best to buy.

I would like to buy the gloves, specially seen that they uploaded a Dcs profile on their website about 3 days ago. Has anybody with the gloves tried Dcs with this new profile? I remember in one of the newsletters Ed stated they were working with the captoglove guys to make this happen but no new word since then..

That happened to me as well as discussed also with dburne in another thread on this forum He suggested to turn off oculus home 2 and to turn off beta test channel or whatever is called I did what he suggested and everything went back to normal Then after some time I wanted to see if with the beta version they fixed the “run as administrator thing” and I redownloaded the 1.27 beta version but still keeping home 2 off And it is working I lunch Dcs world, oculus home doesn’t open and when I wear the rift I see the image as normal Don’t know why but it’s like this Sorry not to be able to help more than this but this is exactly what I’ve done

Knowing how Ed works I have no doubt in the end it will work as intended Just one question, will the hands be connected to the pilot’s body? In every game I see where the hands are tracked I can only see hands and not the rest of the body (arms) Does anybody know why? Is there any technical problem in doing that?

Yes dburne this is exactly what I’m experiencing as well For some reason ver1.27 with ASW on has something wrong

Try this Open oculus tray tool and disable ASW I think i had the same thing you are describing and turning ASW off solves it Oculus updated this morning on my machine to ver. 1.27 and since then I have this problem I really suspect it's oculus ver 1.27 and not DCS today's update

Yes I also confirm that metashader folder was not recreated on my pc as well And Fxo and metashaders2 folder recreated but metashader2 is empty I think is normal otherwise I guess there would be errors, instead my dcs world runs very nice and smooth

I don’t see differences either But devs reported it to be useful to avoid gfx problems so I do it as well after big updates as a precaution
