I'm not sure what point would be in introducing napalm in to dcs, beside obvious, massive fps killer.

@Sacarino111 but remember that you have to re-edit this file every patch.

Try switch gun safety.

Will next WWII aircraft module made by ED be released in 2022?

I don't know it looks more like a bear then a tiger on this bf109 picture. -

Me 262 is canceled -
20mm has no tracer rounds. Oh you mean propellant gases smoke that changes a lot. Just checked on my end smoke trails are present You should try repairing your client, remove all mods, in saved games/ dcs.openbeta clear fxo and metashaders2 folder, this is what i do when any problem occure with DCS

ED is developing new cooling system for all liquid cooled warbirds but no news about it for long time so far.

Since we have late war models, i see no point of modelin any battle of Britain planes or any planes at all in matter of fact, only thing we need is proper map for those planes that's it. This way is much easier no FM modelling needed, map is just much easier to do. WW2 team is very small, modeling spit mk I and bf109 would take years, not even sure if this even possible, taking that team need extensive documentation on both planes to model them. And i disagree with @Nealius that DCS is just cockpit simulator, there are servers online which provide great dogfight/ ground attack + campaign with progress saving, only ppl who are offended somehow that they are forced to fly K-4 over Normandy has problem with this, this is just imaginary problem.

missing info U-Boat can take to much punishment?
grafspee replied to Gunfreak's topic in Bugs and Problems
Remember that you have to destroy every single thing in that u-boat, unfortunately this is how DCS logic works, for example let talk about knocking out a simple truck, one AP round through engine and truck is knocked out, but in dcs you need to destroy every thing until truck is beyond repairs. Same with u-boat 100% damage mean that it must become just metal scrap. So couple of rockets and 2 bombs is not enough, very easy to haul that u-boat to shipyard and repair. -
Actualy i care what version would it be, i would not want to fight later German's super fighters with early version of P-38. So P-38 version from 44/45 would make me the most happy.

@Art-J as far as i know only axis command works. Keyboard binds moves levers but with no effect
-
100% right there. This why i say ppl who are unaware of this issue. Fix is very easy just assign spare axis or use modifier to cold air control bind
-
If levers are in unarmed position and hot air, first thing what happens is that fuel/air charge density will decrease due to higher temp this makes engine less power full and higher chance of detonation occure, and according to the manual operating hot air above 12k ft interfere with carb alt compensator which lead to leaning mixture too much which again make engine even less powerful, makes engine hotter and higher chance of detonations occure. And the most noticeable effect is lack of ram air boost as @Art-J said, which i tested, higher/faster you are, the more boost you get from ram air at alt around 28k you are looking at almost 10" boost from ram air alone And if someone is unaware of this, it changes P-51 in to flying crap

Actually panther tank was direct response to T-34, panther used angled armor same as t-34, but Tiger was also response to T-34 and KW tanks not vice versa
-
I haven't seen any info about new plane so far, i gues team will focus on fixing bugs and missing features.
-
I thought that this is only ground spawn problem since air start should have those levers set all way forward.
-
In case p51 shift down is set 1500ft below shift up alt to avoid frequent shifting. Shift down is very quiet
-
I do not.

I know where problem is. Problem lies in sound level difference between different MP levels, this what exactly happens, you climb your Warbird and you loose MP let say you are in A-8 and climbing with throttle wide open, so you start with 1.42 ATA and at some point you hit crit alt so your MP start to drop, 1.3 1.2 1.1 don't know at what ata it switches but at engine sound in the game is like twice quieter then when run at 1.42 ATA, so when supercharger high speed kick in, it sounds like a explosion. In my opinion sound level should not change much until very very low ATA, you can watch Bf-109 flying at airshows at 1.0 or 0.9 ATA and they sounds amazing and in DCS when you do fly by at 1.0 ATA is like hearing glider no sound at all so quiet. I think that things are modeled correctly how fast and violent this speed switch is, manuals says to avoid being in supercharger switch aera as much as possible so it is not easy for engine. Watch carefully when he drops power from 55" to 46" i can't here any difference in sound, until he drops RPM. If ED will fixe it, all this weird explosions during supercharger switching will be gone. This is another inaccuracy when you cut throttle in DCS sound level is still very high and in RL plane is very quiet Watch how not linear sound level changes engine is very loud until throttle is in idle position in DCS there is not much difference in engine sound when you do this.
-
@peachmonkey i disagree here for every axis plane you can hold brakes set power and take off, so no need to play with throttle during take off.
-
Only advice i have for you is to hold brakes run up engine to 1.2 ata or 1.3 ata and when engine stabilize release brakes and don't touch throttle any more until airborne, elevator trim full nose down helps a lot, flaps 10-20 degrees down, just be ready to tap right brake to keep it straight. You can do that, brakes will hold and plane will not tip over nose like spitfire or p-51
