I agree that this is currently almost impossible on the Warthog throttle. I've remapped the TDC depress to another button which solves it. Having said that, I do like the thinking behind it. I'm finding it easier for the MAV to lock onto my intended target compared to the way the MAVs work with the A-10C. As an aside, I find the overall operation of the Bug to be much more straightforward / intuitive than the Hog!

Another vote in favor of an "easy" AAR option. I don't think it detracts from the fidelity of the simulation and if you don't want to refuel that way, then simply don't.

I have the same issue with VACQ. I hope it's an easy fix for the next OB patch.

Wexler, FWIW the MiG29 now has an upgraded model coded by a former pilot. It's probably next on my shopping list. You might want to take a look at it as a worthwhile addition to your "metric" hanger.

I find Tacview to be an invaluable tool for working out what just happened.

I remember Jello mentioning in one of his podcasts that the legacy Hornet is quite draggy with 2 fuel tanks - he was comparing it to the Super Hornet.

I can highly recommend Tacview. It let's you go back and re-watch your engagements in 3D / multiple angles. I've learnt a lot from getting my butt kicked, then "reviewing the tape" to learn what I should have or shouldn't have done.

I'm cool with it. I'd rather they release it in a usable state then something that is buggy or not working properly just so they can meet a deadline. I'm enjoying the Hornet immensely, especially some of the mods / training missions recently released for carrier landings etc.

Alerax and Shadago, Thanks very much for clarifying. To keep things in context, it's not that big of an issue and can easily be fixed in the mission editor by the user. I've just been dumping fuel and that normally does the trick as well. Keep up the good work!
