Greetings First of all With WWII Assets I still cannot believe this is not a feature available in the ME. Has anyone written a script or setup for Paratroopers ? Deployable in a C-130 ? I know Eric&Patrick's AC-130 has them however its done by creating a new Weapon class and making it basically the shape of a Paratrooper. This is something I doubt I could isolate the code and run as a .lua already in mission. I know there is Cribob's old CSAR Script that creates Soldiers M4 where ever there is an ejected pilot landing, Wondering if we could just create lots of Pilot ejection models maybe ? Has anyone ever tried this, Successful or know of something to point me in the right direction ? Thanks

Greetings. Sorry if this has been posted. Does this MFD Submenu for AG Weapons ever populate for LD 10 ? Havent seen it give data for any weapon. Is it still WIP ? Also when equipped with the SPJ pod, how do I get extra Telemetry data from the emitting sam sites ? Thanks

Looks like razbam removed from the product page. As it was there when I purchased the mirage EA. Said they were waiting on ED to make the weapons as they couldn't. But looks like Deka can though as The type 200 Durandal is coming next update

Agreed at the SFW Submunition release on same mission same altitudes and on same target groups just yesterday vs last month when I created the mission. I am noticing different results. Will test further and look at older .trk files. I am noticing a difference.

I just hope Deka continues the out of the box thinking and development and doesnt rely on ED to create anything first or waits for ED to finish something as we all know how that goes. Its Deka Leading the charge and just circumventing norms is why we have a datacard, special options to edit expendables in the already ingame menu etc. keep it up guys !

I will have to test. Before no real need ot use AA tacan with Datalink. However now with AAR its much more relevant to be used. Will test. If it is an issue post in Bug Reports Section.

on the Topic on "Works" or "Works as expected" I am not as upset for items that do not function yet as they are not implimented, however the items that are implimented and after years are still unfinished or not working the correct way as intended really bother me. Razbam has all of the documents and according to them "Subject matter experts and pilots" on the harrier that they are in contact with. I purchased this module with the clear advertisement over 2 years ago November of 2017 and the product page has not change stating """The subject of this study level simulation is the AV-8B N/A Bu No's 163853 and up which are the latest variant of this very capable AV-8B version.""" study level to me means very very close to the manuals as demonstraded by other peer modules. "Highly realistic modelling of the aircraft systems including electrical, fuel, hydraulics, lighting, engine and navigation that includes:" those advertisements right there to me say everything should be very close to "Working as Intended" just as with any other "study level Simulation" We didnt get this on the premise of someone else interpretation of how they think something should function or operate. Proof is in the pudding.

Its not that all of the work is bad. However much is misinterpreted from the manuals or how basic aircraft systems work or the lack there of all together. Like the very simple engine system damage model. Im speaking in terms of things, like when they are implemented. They are not correct or slightly off, and never get fixed, or take years to get back around to it. For example the Master warning / Master caution system logic. Current state is incorrect. You dont have to be as you have stated in your previous posts "A Rivet Counter" to know that when you depress a Caution in this aircraft it doesnt silence the alert. Nor is that button even animated. It is a sum of all its parts. Little issues, yes not a big deal. However its the fact that there are so many little issues, and are never rectified that they start to add up. Even Cobra from HB will chime in from time to time to get status reports and an overall of the company and the Tomcat when their development has seem to be non existent or slow down. This from Razbam coupled with the absenteeism on the official forums for bug reports created almost two years ago in some cases. yes you can have fun with the module. Still one of my most favorite. Its the passion of that creates the frustration of the progress and status quo

Coming from the last two years heart and soul in another DCS developers module (no to name names) I have watched and added to the countless stacks of another Developer of bug reports and questions that just get ignored and never responded to for years. Extremely frustrating and it just goes to show how they value the community imo. This truely is a breath of fresh air and absolutely awesome Deka 's quick responses and community engagement. Greetings. The LNK (Data Link Group Page) is displaying incorrect fuel numbers for different Friendly aircraft in my group when in multiplayer if they are not in a JF-17. Im guessing this is only correct for JF-17 friendly aircraft as the way it is coded. If a friendly linked with me is in an F-18, his fuel is shown incorrectly and much less than what they will actually have on board when speaking with them. I am guessing the coding is setup for only JF-17 aircraft and displayed as a percentage. So if the F-18C friendly in group is shown instead of the full fuel amount of what the F-18C holds its shown as 100% - JF-17 Loadout so the 5K fuel. Thank you for your time Shrike

Greetings. Diving into the Advanced Nav of the JF. Couple of questions As with other aircraft. When in NAV mode the VORTAC is not displayed on the HSD when tuned. Nor is the Course Line displayed when trying to navigate using Vor navigation. Is this normal ? or a missing feature not implimented yet. Find it hard with no OBS course displayed and the only way to navigate is with the HUD, But there is no DME displayed either. Is this a feature that will be added ? Course line Display, DME, and Navaid thats tuned displayed on the HSD for Situational Awareness and navigation ? Using the HUD is very limited in its current state with TACAN Nav.. You can see from attached images using Kobuleti Tacan for Nav, its not displayed, only the Dest. 51 is displayed, not the VOR. Nor any courselines on the HSD, only the CDI needle and no DME on the HUD. Thanks Shi

Greetings. Thanks again for all your Work guys. Loving the new features. This is more of a feature request, than as an issue. Just something I have noticed with Hacking the chono, and comparing to systems to other aircraft. When using the CHRONO Feature and starting the stopwatch. We are unable to display the GMT time without resetting the running chrono in the background. Is it possible to toggle between the two without resetting the stopwatch chrono feature. ? Not a huge deal as I know we can always get GMT from the TOT UFC Screen as well. Basically Starting CHRONO, then while the timer is running, switching to GMT, then back to Chrono the timer will not be reset and will still be running. Thanks Shrike

+1 Was wondering about this even in DIR mode with a Coordinate I figured it would fly to that point with its own INS, however yes just flies in circles. Havent tested MITL with a wingman of multiple flights with only one aircraft carrying a buddy pod. Will have to test and verify we are all on the same Link Group

Deka New AWACS Module !

Still wish someone smarter than me could mod the Shkval sensor to follow the gun and turret sensor mast outside the limits of the Ka50 and the large viewing angle of the AH gun movement that the model has in game just not the cockpit

I would believe to think that this aircraft having a modern avionics suite would be able to create an approach from Nav points with some type of vertical component the approach. I see in the APR page you can change a GS angle and input a specific slope path. Someone similar to what we see in a RNAV built or GPS built approach. even though an SCA is built as a visual approach, most gps capable / Rnav capable aircraft will still have a reference to the vertical path built in the computer.

I was under the impression that in the apr page settings it displays a glideslope user selectable path angle. Can the aircraft not generate a custom approach (not ils) and give you a decent path from a nav fix ? Similar to an RNAV or GPS approach? I would assume this is possible
