  1. Updated the first post with both curves from Home Fries and my current one.
  2. Mine doesn't ... It's not outlandish. What I'm interested in, is how it works in the real jet. As far as I know (and this is ónly based on experience with the other F-16 sim), the parking brake would disengage automatically at (IIRC) ~80% RPM. This would make sense to me, because if running higher power, you'd risk skidding the jet, with all relevant consequences. All other jet's we have in DCS with a P-brake, you have to disengage yourself: it doesn't automatically disengage. A) I understand that. To add: I'm really enjoying the F-16, (even) in it's current state. I'm not slating it, nor it's development. What I am saying/questioning is: is how it's currently implemented (i.e. at the slightest throttle increase, the P-brake disengages) correct? If so, great! Move on (as you say :) ). If it's not (because it was wrongly misinterpreted, known/WIP, bugged, ...), let ED fix/implement it correctly. If it's already reported/acknowledged/under investigation/WIP: great! Move on, we'll see it in the sim eventually. If so, I wasn't aware. B) Ok! Great!
  3. You wouldn't. But what aircraft do you know that automatically disengages the parking brake? (at all, let alone at a set RPM/throttle setting) The parking brake is specifically there so you can set it to engage and not have to worry about holding the brakes.
  4. In my experience the slightest movement forward on the throttle will disengage the parking brake. I'll create a track later today when I'm back home.
  5. Yep - works fine here. On a Leo Bodnar board.
  6. I did a rough curve yesterday as well, but not completely happy with it yet. I'll post it later when I'm happy with it, and try home fries's as well :)
  7. Awesome! I'll need to make a few designs for this :music_whistling: Indeed! It has been a while. Hope you're holding up okay in your neck of the woods :thumbup::pilotfly:
  8. AWESOME idea! Maybe it's possible to implement an input box per switch/button, because some are single throw toggles, buttons and double row toggles?
  9. True. However, it's not much fuss to make it, so it'll appear in the list rather quickly I'm sure.
  10. :shocking::shocking::shocking: Really???? Awesome!
  11. Sure there is, you can set it up the same way as AB curves. But, I cannot imagine why it's such an annoying time to swap the AB detent. It's literally 30 seconds, and you don't lose quite a large portion of your throttle curve.
  12. In that case, to be honest I don't see why this is such a high-wanted thing? What would the added benefit be to have the FC3 aircraft spawnable on the taxiway, rather than the DCS aircraft? The FC3 aircraft can already spawn on the parking spots and DCS aircraft anywhere else? Don't get me wrong, I think this is something that needs to be sorted.
  13. Why don't you put FC3 aircraft on the parking then and other aircraft on the ground?
  14. 'T was awesome as usual!!! :D :D
  15. :drunk::cheer3nc:
  16. :) Can also be found on the website https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0011/5602/2282/files/Thumbstick_Install_Instructions.pdf?2
  17. Well said! :thumbup::pilotfly:
  18. You can assign multiple DX-keys (i.e. "joystick buttons") to a single command in the DCS input list.
  19. Still not what I've meant :P Now it's all wired to a single input. I mean each switch goes to a seperate input on the leo bodnar board.
  20. FWIW: I think it should be up to the user to select push-through detent or lift-detent. For me, a push-through detent would not be preferable. I much prefer a lift-detent.
  21. Maybe... You've drawn the inputs series, I meant in parallel. Maybe this'll work as well :)
  22. Maybe three microswitches work? All in parallel on seperate inputs which actuate together as you pull your ejection lever. Not sure if the sim recognises three inputs on the ejection command as a valid eject command... Worth a try, you can do that quite quickly using keyboard commands.
  23. Yep. That's how I do it at the moment as well. A simple button to set the AB detent point would be perfect and negate doing the curves yourself, but it also works. (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=182299)
  24. Yea that's true. It is a lift-type detent. The shapeways alternative is perfect for that I'm sure :)
  25. To give him a high-five and a beer? Or to shorten his nose? :D
