  1. Hmm the only thing which i would try to change would be ground and water to low and see whats going on. But i think u already tried this right ? Other suggestions would be to put everything on the lowest option except the resolution. Then start to put one by one the things 1 option higher. Except these which u dont want to have higher then medium. Maybe u find something which gives these stutters. As i dont have experience in Ryzen and AMD i cant help much further. Dont know how the Radeon options look like :/
  2. Can u may put a picture of your actual DCS Graphic settings inside ? And how does your Windows 10 Power option is set to ?
  4. Oh this i should look for because i have the same problem that Nevada an F/A-18C gives me crashes
  5. Habe mir mal dein Nvidia Inspector Profil angeschaut.
  6. Thanks for that good Info :) And we also have the picture that this is for sure not working :) I try to show that some functions arent working with pictures because mostly what we see in the discussions about Antialiasing is only written without any pictures as proof.
  7. Because a side by side view shows easier the differences i made a side by side comparison.
  8. I would try to turn off Depth of Field , Lens Flares i would also try to shut off and try to use no Cockpit global illumination
  9. Hey folks. I tried to figure out which of the AA settings are working and what kind of results i get. I made some screenshots with a third party screenshot tool because the ingame screenshot function sometimes dont captures the AA. I used the Nvidia Inspector tool to see which functions are working and my conclusion is that only FXAA seems to have effect on the AA. Also i tried to use the Nvidia MFAA function but it seems to have no effect. I will mention that this is NOT VR related only 2D My resolution is 3440x1440 and all made with the Nvidia Driver : 388.31 WHQL ( this is for me the best running driver atm) For my Rig the Only FXAA or the Only MSAA 2x option are working fine. But this thread should only show the comparison between the different options. Here are the follwoing screenshots. MSAA: OFF SSAA: OFF MFAA: OFF FXAA: OFF ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MSAA: OFF SSAA: OFF MFAA: OFF FXAA: ON ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MSAA: OFF SSAA: OFF MFAA: ON FXAA: OFF ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MSAA: 2x SSAA: OFF MFAA: OFF FXAA: OFF ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MSAA: 2x SSAA: OFF MFAA: OFF FXAA: ON ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MSAA: 4x SSAA: OFF MFAA: OFF FXAA: OFF ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MSAA: OFF SSAA: 1.5x MFAA: OFF FXAA: OFF ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MSAA: OFF SSAA: 1.5x MFAA: OFF FXAA: ON ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MSAA: 2x SSAA: OFF MFAA: OFF FXAA: ON ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MSAA: OFF SSAA: OFF MFAA: OFF FXAA: OFF Nvidia Antialiasing Mode: Enchance the application setting Nvidia Antialiasing Setting: 2x Multisampling ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MSAA: 2x SSAA: OFF MFAA: OFF FXAA: OFF Nvidia Antialiasing Mode: Enchance the application setting Nvidia Antialiasing Setting: 2x Multisampling ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MSAA: OFF SSAA: OFF MFAA: OFF FXAA: OFF Nvidia Antialiasing Mode: Override any application setting Nvidia Antialiasing Setting: 2x Multisampling
  10. Hey Goa not good to see u again struggeling. As i see youre running Asus equip as i do. Do u use the AISuite or did u overlocked your system ? DCS seems struggeling with overlocking the cpu and having AISuite running in the backround. As DCS seems not to need much CPU power and more uses memory and V memory power its should worth it to try out to keep the cpu as not overlocked as possible. At the moment im struggeling around with the news update and Persian Gulf Map to find a sweet spot for settings. But im not as far with figuring it out as i want. But still MSAA and overlocking seems to be a problem. As u already killed MSAA theres only the overlocking thing left in my opinion even my opinion isnt experienced enough to tell you were the your problem is : /
  11. Hi, the Preload radius seems to be kind of too high. May u turn this to 90000-100000. Then maybe u try out to set Cockpit res to 512 but without EVERY FRAME. And check your VR settings. With default VR is active maybe this also can give some trouble ?
  12. Tahnks for your quick reply BIGNEWY . As i thought it has to do with a restart okay :)
  13. Hi guys. Maybe i missed some update or maintenance time but am i the only one with the problem of an almost empty server list ? At the moment there are only 7 Server up. 10 minutes ago it was only 1 server ? Using DCS World Open Beta 2.5.1.16543 Maybe someone can help , thank u.
  14. But why they write in the Newsletter they believe they have adressed it but the PachtLog doesnt have any Fix in it ? I think the word "adressed" was choosen wrong. Maybe its more that they "discovered" the issues and now its up to build the right fix for the issue. And those progress can take time but therefore we have the BETA to "discover" the problems and then ED can create the Fix for the issue. I think the newsletter wants to tell us that they are now be aware of the main issues and know were they coming from and are still up to bring us a solution. But in my opinion the word "adressed" was choosen wrong and brought maybe some confusing to some mates here. The words: Found, Discover or located would fit much better to the state of progress.
  15. I think the point is more why ED was writing that they adressed these issues in the last patch but the changelog hasnt got a fix of those "adressed" issues inside. For me its kind of confusing if i missed something inside the changelog or are they still fixing the issues. Because if they would have fixed those with the last patch then they would normally write inside the changelog : Fixed memory leak or Fixed performance issues. Im not complaining about the BETA program itself. I know what a beta is and that u need our help to find and fix the problems because a small team cant find every issues. I appreciate your efford and i know that without our help u wouldnt get better results. And the 2.5 BETA is a free gift for us from u. Its only kind of confusing that they wrote they fixed it but there arent any notices about those fixes inside the changelog.
  16. You can prevent this by creating a mission with the mission editor. Put all aircrafts which are available for playing on an airport. Before u go Multiplayer load this mission. Then all aicrafts are preloaded in your system. this will reduce a bit the big lags when someone joins the server.
  17. Would be someone kind to test also the deleting of the Microsoft Visuals thing which i mentioned some threads earlier.? Would be nice to know if that works or not
  18. So have maybe another try for u. But this can cause some problems for other programs which u may have so be aware of that. Go to your Apps where u can delete programs. There in the list look for the Microsoft Visual C++ 20XX Redistributable Apps. I had recently installed Autodesk programs on my pc which also installed several version of the Microsoft Visuals. As they were installed i noticed some really microish stutters. Then i deleted all which comes with the Autodesk installation and i noticed a much smoother behaviuor in DCS. At the moment i ended up with following installed versions left: Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributables Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributables Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributables Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributables U also maybe need to Repair your TrackIr5 Software and then it will install the required Microsoft Visual C++ version because TrackIR need also the Microsoft Visuals. With these left Versions i can run DCS and TrackIr5. Maybe when after removing the Visuals your Yostick Software or something else isnt working and do a repair and it will install the required Visuals. Dont know if this will help u but maybe u can give it a try.
  19. Mauklin did u tried to give the AXIS a deadzone of 5 for example ? For me it works without jerking but the only problem is for me when i reach the end position of the axis stick then sometimes it stops to move.
  20. In the Engine DDI Display u also can check during flight which temperature u had as SORTIE JPT and then u also have a OT TIME which i think should show u how long u overtemped the engine. Source: https://info.publicintelligence.net/AV-8B-000.pdf
  21. I give u the description according to the AV8B NATOPS - 000 Source: https://info.publicintelligence.net/AV-8B-000.pdf Site: 643-645 BUT I dont know if in the discription of the Natops the picture which u see for the Radar and Night Attack Version is correct because there u only have the Ghost velocity vector. Dont know if in the N/A version u only have the ghost vector or if u have both. In the picture of the Day and Training version u have both the Ghost vector and the normal vector. Maybe someone of Razbam can give more information what is right and what is wrong ?
  22. U need to go to C:\Users\YOUR PC NAME\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input There u find the different Aircrafts with the different Input profiles. Copy those and then after an update u can paste them over the existing files or put them new inside the Input folder if they are been deleted. Hope this helps for u ?
  23. Here are some steps which u may can follow if u not already did: Windows Power Plan -Control Panel -Hardware and Sound -Power Options -There u click on High Performance Next: Do u use Windows 10 ? If yes u are aware of the Gaming Mode of Windows 10 ? Go to your: -Windows Settings -Gaming -Game Mode -There u can activate it. If not because i think after last updates u need to activate it inside the Game then do this following steps: -Go into DCS -Start a quick mission (doesnt matter which one) -When all is loaded press : Windows + G -Then the Windows Game Bar should open -There u can activate the Gaming Mode What else ? TrackIr5 Software For myself i realized that the TrackIR5 "Precision" mode makes it smooth but also gives me some micromicro stutters. Therefore i have it turned off. Nvidia Settings: Go into your Nvidia Control Panel and look inside the "Manage 3D Settings" for Power Management and be sure its set to "Prefer Maximum Performance" GPU Tuning Software: Do u use a tuning software such as AISuite ? If yes then turn it off when u using DCS Nvidia Driver: Which Nvidia Driver are u exactely using ? For me after 377.81 i only get problems. Currently im using 377.31 without having any problems. VSync/ Your Monitor: What kind of Monitor do u use ? Do u really need 120FPS? Maybe u can try to force your Monitor to 60Hz when u have a 120Hz monitor ? Maybe u can try to force all to keep 60FPS/Hz. But i dont want to start to discuss about 60/120FPS/Hz and there benefits this is a personally thing :D Maybe some of these steps will help you. let me know if u find something out with that.
  24. For me the AR/PT Mode is also not working but i think this isnt the problem. Be sure that u before u lase the Laser Modus is on ARMED and on LASR otherwise it is not armed and is in training mode. This u can see in the upper side of the TPOD MPCD. And then dont forget to press FIRE . When its firing the laser u see that FIRE is underlined.
  25. Do u played around with the AISuite? Or all for ur 1080ti on standard? I noticed when i set my AISuite only the Power Target to 120% and the GPU Voltage to 100% and then i close AISuite i got a really good performance. Set my Nvidia Settings to Antialiasing Mode : On Setting: 8xQ Transparency Supersampling to 2x Everythings looks good when i turned off MSAA and AF Ingame. But this for non VR with VR i need to test
