Yes it was before the last patch. I did have Phoenix selected in the fron seat--I actually could fire it. I just couldn't see the blinking icon that my RIO could see in the back. After launch, it would count down and blink when pitbull as should. v6, boNes

When playing in MP and my RIO gets TWS-A targets in the launch zone, they blink in his TID as they should. But when I look at the TID repeater in the front seat, I do not see them blinking. Is this right? v6, boNes

I heard it before 2.7 in the Zone V campaign. I thought it was just something inherent to that campaign because I don't think I heard it anywhere else. Kinda like how in Zone V I can't backspace out the joystick, but I can in any other mission/campaign. v6, boNes

It's gone. We'll have to bomb by hand. v6, boNes

Any know what's up with this? Thanks. v6, boNes

Another nuance from the rear pit. I can see the bandit on my DDD While in RWS. I set my HCU to radar cursor and slew the cursor on the DDD to the blip and pull the trigger. Even though I am on the blip and it attempts to lock on, alot of times it doesn't. Why is that? I notice that the bar settings seem to be ignored when you do that, is that why? It looks like it goes to a 2 bar setting maybe 4 when you do that. If so, do I need to adjust my elevation to better get the lock? I thought the radar when slewed by the stick in this way just looks where you tell it to look on the DDD? Thanks! v6, boNes

How about this scenario? You launch Phoenixes on 4 targets in TWS-A mode. As they are guiding, and before they go pitbull, you accidentally forget that you switched the HCU to radar cursor and as you are trying to hook a TWS target, you inadvertanlty slew the radar antenna, screwing up the TWS tracks. Yes bonehead me did this. If you realize this fast enough, switch back to TWS-A, and tracks start to reappear in the TID, will the Phoenixes in flight reacquire since there are again valid tracks, or are they lost? v6, boNes

Hmmm mine is sorta random. Sometimes second mission but more than oft randomized. v6, boNes

Thanks so much! That helps, I was looking at the yellow paint smear looking thing. it’s ironic getting tips on seeing this indent from someone called NearBLind! v6, boNes

To further, if you are in the backseat how do you know what radio mode your -182 is in? The mode knob doesn't have a markinh on it so I can't tell what mode it's set to except when it's off because the thing turns off. I cacn't tell if it's in DF mode or not when I turn to it. v6, boNes

I can't tell what files, Steam just says 5 files. What's the second mission bug? v6, boNes

I have the Steam version. Occasionally when loading a mission, the loading freezes up at stage World Preload 1/60. If I force shutdown and restart DCS, it usually works fine. If I do an integrity check, it finds 5 files that need to be re-downloaded, and everything is fine for a day or two and then the problem and process repeats. Any ideas? v6, boNes

Yes every close in dogfight I fly I have to jump in the RIO seat and flip the switch to take the radar off standby. I didn't know this and I lost 2 great tracking shots on the bandits from not having a radar (maual shooting was OK though). The version "600" uses the A-4 mod so I can't use it, nor can some others if they don't ahve the A-4 mod.....many don't that are running on MP servers since if you don't have the same mods as the others or the server itself, you apparently can't fly together. IS there a non A-4 version, or can I just go into the ME and take out the A-4s? v6, boNes

There used to be a Top Gun version. I have it but I don't think it works in 2.7 (it doesn't show up in the mission list). Is there a new version? Or why isn't it seen in the mission list? Also, in the Dogfight one, the Tomcats in close blue start with radar off. Anyway to have them start with radar on? Thanks. v6, boNes

OK, good to know, thanks! Takes the edge off HAHA Draconus, guilty as charged. Thanks! v6, boNes

Same here, still persists. v6, boNes

So I know it's a sim so we can shoot down a bandit in this campaign--as Bio said, it's fun to blow things up. But here's my question: If I shoot a guy with guns and he's damaged but doesn't go down and the voiceovers say it was a good kill and to knock it off--does the campaign mission count this as a success? Because when I damage him and they call knock it off and I look at the stats it says 1/2 planes destroyed instead of 2/2. So I get afraid that if if I RTB and end the mission it will not count as a successful mission even though the voiceover said it was a kill. So I end up ignoring the knock it off and finishing the bandit off. Sometimes this comes as a cost in fuel to me. So does anyone know if I did follow their knock it off and let him limp home, will it be a successful mission? Thanks. v6, boNes

I usually set up the front seat for the bomb run then hop in back and target via LANTIRN. When I do that, Iceman flies straight and level automatically. Then when I'm set up in back I jump in front and fly the cues until the drop. After drop, I jump back to the back seat and monitor the drop from there while Iceman again flies straight and level. Works most of the time. The only time it gets messed up is if I forget to switch my HOTAS profile to the correct one depending on what seat I'm in. v6, boNes

Calling off on this one. I found the single missions in the campaign folder and copied them to the single missions folder, overwriting the bad ones in there. Works fine now. v6, boNes

Did a repair and validate twice and the problem is still there. v6, boNes

In the Case I Recovery instant action mission in the Persian Gulf, the staic Tomcats on the carriers wings are overswept way past centerline. v6, boNes

OK, I'll give it a shot with the repair. Thanks. v6, boNes

The (3) single missions that you get with Zone V--the 1v1 guns, 1v1 sidewinder and 1vUknown no longer work. When you click start it exits to the debriefing results page and displays the debrief/results of the last non-Zone V mission you flew. v6, boNes

Found he did say something new...right as I touched down for landing he called out, "Wind shear...IN YOUR PANTS!!! nice landing." v6, boNes
