BlackShark necessary to run later DCS modules?
Maverick-GER- replied to Squid's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
For me it is not about the money. It's like that lets say there is a su27 module coming but i dont give a .... bout russian aircraft, i wont have to buy it. And if the module after the su27 would be a F-16 for example i would want that one... the question behind it was would i have to buy the su27 module just to be able to play online later with others who bought the su27 addon... For example my last il2 version was pacific fighters because everything that came afterwards didnt interest me anymore... but in order to keep flying online i would have to get the pe2 addon and 1946 i think thats how it was, so that was my end of il2! And i love they way ED is going for to make ALL modules compatible even if you skip one you dont like! -

GGtharos just another question to that topic... but if the a10 will be out and i would decide not to get it there will be some kind of patch or sth like that so i get engine updates? Must be like that right so dcs blackshark and dcs warthog will work together? -
bump?

no idea on my problem yet?

the problem how i see it is that he releases the trimmer button too early.. let the helicopter get stable first and then release...

its not about the knowledge of my router... i mean my port forwarding worked out in every other game i had.... my computer doesnt use a static ip but i get assigned the same ip from the router all the time so its just like a static one... i forwarded ports 10000-11000 to my internal ip 192.168.xxx.xxx so no problem this far. Ok but even with those ports forwarded i can only choose my internal ip when i open a black shark server (which is normal according to what ed guys said in other posts) ok so i create a server like this: Name: Maverick-GER- training server Internet 192.168.xxx.xxx port: 10308 (tried others already too) password none and server opens up and i can fly on it. Only problem is that in the in game browser my ip shows right, it only shows a wrong port so people cant connect to my server since they try connecting to a wrong port. But if they do a direct connection by typing in my ip and just typing in the 10308 port manually they can connect without a problem..... So the only problem i have is that the in game browser shows a wrong port... edit: Feel free to try it out i got the server opened for now (ping will be shit since i send someone a file right now) online ip = 217.227.36.61 port 10308 you can see that in the browser it shows a wrong ip but that you will have no problem connecting by typing the ip and and port yourself

Since we are on problems with hosting.. time to bring my unsolved problem up again i forwarded ports 10000 to 11000 connecting to my server via typing my ip and port in works too.. problem is that in the in game browser my server shows up with the wrong port number and therefore no one can connect through it! today i tried it out with several ports again when i choose port 10308 it shows in in game browser with port 17006, if i chose port 10000 it is 17424 or something like that and if i choose port 11000 it shows port 17064 for example... really dont know what the porblem is here!
-
I dont get that one either.... ME = Mission Editor... where it is? It is in the main menu when you start black shark up....
-
Well I leave the 3 autopilots on all the time as recommended a lot of times already ... so either you use the method of holding the trim down all the time or use the flight director mode. works pretty good... since turning off will be just a substitude from fighting the autopilot into fighting the helicopter =) what you are looking for (or should be looking for) is a state where your autopilot still stabilizes your helicopter, but doesnt take control over it! So it is either flight director or hold down trimmer =)

well i meant if i choose port 12000 for example then and it is not used would it then show the right port (12000 in this case) in the in-game browser too then??
-
hmm how would i check that... Anyhow that would mean if i forward port 12000 for example and choose port 12000 when opening a server would work then? Well something new to try out
-
If anyone knows a fix for the wrong port number showing please let me know
-
yeah seems to be a quite common problem if you look on the ingame browser =)
-
The Virtual Thunderbirds. LLC was my personal highlight already of the show so far! Respect to all the showpilots!
-
The only problem my server seems to have, after i forwarded the port 10308 and started the server , the ingame browser shows the right ip but the wrong port! (in server options i chose 10308 too) So people cant connect using the in game browser but if they use my ip from in game browser and change the port to 10308 they can connect! (the port it shows is something like 10220 or something like that) maybe you got the same problem (i use a teledat 631 router)

Thanks to the Developers, a couple of questions for you
Maverick-GER- replied to toby23's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
to 4: either you go in the mission editor and just place a ka-50 on a airfield (waypoint 1 = start from parking) save that and you got it, or you can also go ahead and download "Training Day 1" mission from wolfast, which you can find here in the forums (mission, tracks forum) (both would be a cold start) -
Stalker a sim? For me it is just 1 of a 1000 other FPS Games. Please tell me someone why stalker should be a sim???

Hotas cougar, and rudder control help
Maverick-GER- replied to T.Bone's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
must have been the F16/c pedals since they are made exclusively for the cougar.. those you can plug right into the cougar and everything works... other gameport rudders usually have to be modded to work with the cougar. -

To make something clear for you T.Bone... Most cougar users also use rudder pedals like these Therefore there will be no rudder assigned to their cougar. -

What communications are you talking about? You mean communicating with AI Pilots, or communication with ground crew?
