@Krupi that’s a good one of NZ2337. does any one have a profile diagram or pictures of what was wood and what was metal. I’ll try and give the metal parts a slightly bit more sheen & dull the painted wood down. that way it’ll turn out a bit more like the hawker hart pic.

Thanks @Krupi, I agree. That’s was the first flight in game. It’s hard to judge in MV as they are very different. I’ve been adjusting it to try and give it that silver paint look.

Honeycomb Bravo Throttle ?
Helles Belle replied to packman2002's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thanks @Snowy55 , the mossie is why I’m thinking of getting it. I’d like to hear how you go with it. -

A lot of us have done the same with the curves, it may be better if you have a longer stick as opposed to a desk top like I have. The roll rate is about right, IRL it could do 720 per second, but If I recall correctly pilots were limited to 360 per second (structural?). The Mirage III had the same roll rate.

Honeycomb Bravo Throttle ?
Helles Belle replied to packman2002's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I contacted Honeycomb about the different throttles. The response below. The throttle with the stencils/markings is the current production version. A lot of websites I have looked at use the old pre-production photos. (So I am cautious of those sellers) “The first picture is the current Bravo version, the lower image is an older mockup of a pre-production model. Please feel free to reach out again if you need further assistance!” -
Honeycomb Bravo Throttle ?
Helles Belle replied to packman2002's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
It looks like they have changed it. Apart from the different sized hump they seemed to have removed the friction knob for the levers on the right. The indications stencils have been removed from the throttle quadrant & flap/speed brake levers. And the autopilot button is different. I’d say if this is a newer version they may have gone down a cost saving path. If the size (length wise) is a problem but your happy with the product in general, maybe it’s worth checking out this shorter one? -
Honeycomb Bravo Throttle ?

Yeah, I didn’t think it looked like the other pictures I had seen. Thanks for the dimensions, they are also different from the dimensions off Amazon (it states it’s only 3kg as well) which makes me wonder if they have changed it. I’ll do some more research and let you know. -
Honeycomb Bravo Throttle ?
Helles Belle replied to packman2002's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I’m not sure if they have updated the version or this is an older one but it seems shorter in this photo than some I have seen. this pic appeared to missing the big hump at the back. -

Thanks @pocketedition I should be right but I’ll measure it up. Are the product specs close to what you found you actually needed? -

Hey @DBarryMack, did you manage to fix the throttle problem with the spit? I’m also looking at getting the Honeycomb now the Mossie is out & wanted to see if those that have it are still happy, and maybe have a review. thanks. -

We Want To Hear Your Ideas For A New Map In DCS!
Helles Belle replied to danielzambaux's topic in DLC Map Wish List
What @MNissen said or Korea But I’d happily except this as well -
@Jack Bauer Great job guys. The Garcia D'Avila fills a hole much needed in the game. Are the British skins for HMS Ocean & Sir Galahad included in the download?
-
Yep, that's a nice skin. I'll PM you.
-
I can have a look. What did you have in mind? Can you post up a pic? Free Kuwait looks good
-
-
Agreed, Korea or Vietnam

Hi @Conuk welcome back. I use CH for stick, throttle & rudders. 1 Do I need to have CH manager installed? (running Windows 10) I don’t believe you have to have it installed. Unless you want to use some of the more advanced programming features i have it installed and only use it for calibrations. 2 Do I just calibrate in Windows and remove CH Manager? You could do that. I have calibrated using both, not sure which is best or which does a better job. I don’t get that technical. Why not leave CH manager installed? You may use it one day, maybe not. 3 Just assign everything in DCS? That’s what I have done. I find using something like CH manager confuses me & it’s quicker to do changes in DCS. 4 Is there a combat stick and pro throttle file that I can load in DCS that has been created to save me even more time - could just tweek from there I guess? I don’t have the F-18 module, but I’m sure there are plenty of people who do and are willing to help out. have you tried the User download section on the DCS website? There may be already one on there. Cheers HB

From memory: turn the EMER SEL knob to 3 pull EMER BOMB handle

Ah ok, my bad, I didnt read the memo about the MCL. Thats new since I last flew an ILS in the A-4. It's working now Many thanks. Last question, is there audible ident for the ILS? Volume control etc?
-
Ok, thanks for the confirmation. However, what do I need to do to make it work? Whatever I do the needles are always stowed (left/down) Is it tuned only via the TACAN panel? And is the BDHI switch left in TACAN? Does it only work with the super carrier module or ALL carriers? Do I need to set something up in the ME for the carrier? If I want to use a land based ILS do I need to set something up in ME for that as well?
