Maybe it's time to fix this maybe kind of ?
G.J.S replied to Csgo GE oh yeah's topic in Bugs and Problems
Just had a quick flick through of the thread you linked, specifically to look at responses from the developers. They seem to state - many times I might add - that the issue that you have pains with is ED’s to fix, not HB’s. Are you not screaming at the wrong people? Not that screaming works btw, intelligent adult dialogue is the more productive way to conduct yourself. -

I would never have assumed . . . . -

You know people react better to posts where there are points put across in a calm and respectable manner, don’t you? Going all critical mass is just going to lead to you being regarded somewhat less than favourably.- 22 replies

Now THATS a bloody brilliant analogy!

Horrific flooding in Europe, hellish fires in the US, Canadian "hot spots" far and above what they should get - what the heck is going on with this world . . . . .

The HUD being fresh from factory would look exactly the same as before . . . Only difference may be the combiner glass (windshield in this case) has less fingerprints or smudges. A factory fresh HUD wouldn’t make it more ‘digital’ looking.

Doubt your warthog is getting faulty, if it was then the slight roll would afflict all modules you have. I can’t accurately remember the reason, just that the F-5 default centre for stick is slightly off. Regardless, glad you have it sorted.

This ^^. Among the first things you learn is formations, after actually learning the airframe.

Those wing loadings are a little suspect? You can’t really compare them unless the aircraft are at the same weight, which would yield identical loadings for all the types, given the same square footage of wing. How come different values? Empty weights would give 70.98lbs/sq ft. Max weight gives 127.43lbs/sq ft for the baseline A model. Empty 73.94lbs/sq ft, and Max 131.59lbs/sq ft for the A+. Empty 77.40lbs/sq ft, and Max 131.59lbs/sq ft for the D. The values given in the table are for F-14s at different weights to each other, so it’s a useless comparison. All told, just going by the table as shown, the A+ has slightly better throw away weight, for the same performance as the D.

Exactly. That is also the reason the F-15EX gained two extra pylons on the wings - for A2A stores.

Andersen AFB Parking spots 150 onwards not for heavy jets?

Yeah, sure looks like a tanker pan. -
Vibration . . . it seemed like someone was using a sledgehammer to pound on the metal floor beneath you. Being a podded install there was a spread issue sometimes, [the teaching (due to the spread) was "wound from a distance (high spread), then kill from in close (tighter group in close)] - in that firing could cause the pod as a whole to 'shimmy', a very slight wiggle. It could never be completely eradicated, and for the most part never really showed itself, but when the 'right' pod got mounted on the 'right' airframe . . . . Bore sighting, it was sighted to the HUD ret to a point - the sweet spot would take into account the round drop, and you would coincide the sight depression to match for a given "sweet" range. But the podded gun would never have the accuracy of the built in gat on the Echo, that was (by comparison) eye-watering in accuracy of fire compared to the pod.

Avro Vulcan XH558 - Mod by T-Pap

5 crew - 2 bang seats. The 3 rear facing crew had to unhitch and blow an access door to jump. -
Try a small deadzone in your control stick. Vaguely remember an issue with constant slight roll with the F-5 that was due to a default center being slightly one way or the other?

Idea, Copy Petro targeting idea for GBUs and give them to Jester.

Oh my god you are hilarious! Last time I was called “kid” was around 36 years ago! Okay Donald Trump, explain the business model where (for instance) HB develop a product but only get a percentage for their efforts? -

No idea chap, I don’t have Hind. But, if it’s something they have worked hard on, why would they basically give it to a competitor for nothing? Triggered?? Don’t make me laugh, it’s you who have been triggered into responding. I was stating a standard business fact. -
Apologies, lack of sleep and not reading the several prior posts correctly resulted in a bad post. Ive had a couple hours kip now. (2hrs in the last 48!). Marconi ARI 18228(?), is the RWR gear - front and rear hemisphere. (Believe it’s same setup as was used in Vulcan). Its NOT an ECM gear (not too sure what I had smoked?). Going to go back under my stone now . . . .

Marconi RWR principally, but could have an ECM function also dependent on setting.

Who wouldn’t want their product to sell better! , but which competitor would offer help? Both in the same market, neither will team up or offer out their “greatest edge”, so why would they do it for free? Then you run into “who gets top billing” if they do miraculously join? -

That would be like a Ford car using a BMW FLIR without paying BMW anything. Would you give your competitors something in demand, for nothing? -
Why you should never share a curry with your crew in an armoured vehicle . . . .

Don't rely too much on the horizon line when airborne, the HUD isn't a primary device. The only thing i do with regards the horizon line is when on the pan before lift off, i use the HUD Trim dial to bring the horizon line up to match visible horizon and set it there whilst aircraft at rest. I'm guessing the OP is digital-gen slave, used to the see all and display all HUD's. Proper aircraft require pilots - laptops require displays.
