  2. I would never have believed it if I hadn’t seen it . . . I wonder how long before the shoot cue gets replaced with something like this coming through the headset . . .
  3. ‘That’ is actually put on those cans??? You would hope that the pilot doesn’t have OCD, if he starts to read it at the wrong moment - he’s going to have to finish before . . .
  4. Yikes!! One way to deal with speeders . . . . impressive!
  5. Interesting gen on NVG types and usage - https://nvgsafety.com/NVG_Support/Night_Vision_Goggles/Night_Vision_Goggles_Chap7.pdf
  6. Probably going to need to see your dcs log, that shows your system specs chap.
  7. Are you and Subs related???????
  8. Hello chap. I’m pretty sure the reflector on the -22 is on centre line, roughly just ahead of the main landing gear. From the angle of your shots, given that the bay doors are open the reflector would be hidden unfortunately. Great images btw.
  9. It will be fine my friend, as Subs hinted to earlier, his ‘repulsive shadow’ has many uses - protection of vehicle occupants, similar for aircraft, incredible really. The only degrees that may be susceptible to instant immolation may be bovine excretion awards that subs seems to have a few of . . . High class bull-sh1t.
  10. I really, really hope you are the test subject for your repulsive shadow snatch anchor ooby-dooby if it involves a high forward velocity and a brick wall . . . . I’ll bring the popcorn and sit on my multi strand levitation device with an alloy frame - a lawn chair.
  11. I like the way this could go however . . . I’m joining in!
  12. Going by my surname Scott, I conquered the Antarctic then?
  13. Confused. Immensely. What is the relevance of the painting, other than it is female, and so is the woman by the trainer aircraft?
  14. A few times that I’ve found myself high, I’ve attained and kept 62000ft - ballistic I’ve seen 78000. Your fourth picture shows a way that will never work for anything other than a ballistic shot and fall back, you need to attain height sort of gradually. Ensure you are as light as possible, as clean as possible, be smooooooth with the controls. Either cruise-climb, or level off at certain heights to build back some IAS before climbing in a stepped fashion. Give it a try - see where in your climb profile things start to fall apart and improve your handling in those areas, you may work out a profile that gets you way up there.
  15. That looks wonderful, with the sister ships shall be a necessary download! Good work Sir.
  16. Yes. The only time they come off is for actual combat ops. Same as when the -117 was front line, then the biscuit boxes come off. Still waiting for a little education from you about the first thing sensei.
  17. Yeah, SUBS has “intrigued” me many times - and I quite agree.
  18. These are remarkable - paper construction? Quite a large scale too. Very well done Sir.
  19. Not bad for staying low, quite a respectable radius for a basic straight line jaunt with no push and pull. Try a hi-lo-hi, lo section at minimum 420kts, max 480kts for around 40 mile ingress to tgt, egress same distance. Load out is fairly universal so keep that.
  20. http://www.nmusafvirtualtour.com/cockpits/CW_tour/CW-3.html https://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/Visit/Virtual-Tour/Cockpit360/ Pretty good for having a look around a few types.
  21. HEY!?! Don’t hog the popcorn chap, pass it round . . .
  22. I’m ex aircrew, go on, educate me then.
  23. Always thought the Aegean going hot would be an interesting area.
  24. It was lead of a 2 ship, the downed aircraft was "SNIPER01". Follows is a link about the pilot, Regards Pilot . Aircraft was either N565EM, or N575EM.
