Military Assets for DCS by Currenthill
G.J.S replied to currenthill's topic in Static/AI Mods for DCS World
Ahh, 50,000 loose rivets all flying in formation. -
That children analogy - that is beautiful! Accurate, but beautifully funny, love it.

Thanks for the insight Dali, appreciate it. Certainly looks promising! Pretty bloody fantastic actually. -
Airshow Objects Mod - Any That Work in 2025?
G.J.S replied to CommandT's topic in Static/AI Mods for DCS World
Echoing Tengah - certainly works. Downloaded it specifically to test, no issues. -
Repair DCS function, available in the launcher I believe.

Ability of assigning a track fie to AI aircraft
G.J.S replied to pedrosuraALIASFury's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Probably a missed press of the “R” which is next to the “T”. -
It’s insane, trying to perfect perfection. Each iteration just keeps showing that you DO do it though. Statics can only be appreciated up close and can be hidden behind things, a module can have ridiculous detail, yet you don’t really see it when more than a couple hundred feet from it - but Bandits weather - is front and Center in your face, and the level of realism bought by it just elevates the whole experience. It makes you want to undertake an a$$ numbing long duration flight, just to see the differences with distance. There are a few guys, whose work makes the DCS environment so much more. Bandit648 is way, way up that list.

Indeed, seconded. -
Bit of a small area with not a lot to offer really though isn’t it? The entire UK would be a lot better, but is extremely unlikely. However, could be fun if certain “landmarks” are added . . .

That must have been a truly glorious sound!

Excellent news Sir. A very much anticipated recreation of a sorely missed type. Watching this thread repeatedly.

QF-4 livery and pilot disable draw argument
G.J.S replied to Buzzer1977's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
There’s a few QF skins, can’t remember the authors, but go through the skins and they will be found. -

. . . And across the channel it’s sometimes called the “Condom mentality” . . . . It’s better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it!

Here’s hoping that “no news, is good news”. It’s one heck of an undertaking, and an iconic aircraft. Whenever it does surface, It will have quite a following. Bring out the pig.

It would be handy if as a Developer option, a tick box or similar could be added somewhere on main screen or somewhere, where for this map a “Combat” or “Training” switch could be made, whereby cones, balloons could be removed for the whole map, or reinstated. Training keeps them where they are, and should the flyer wish, he/she can practice proper avoidance and routing. Combat removes them, (rightly so!), and routings and low level runs can be used as would be.

Terrain has not loaded. When you notice “lakes” with housing floating, try pausing your sim - the missing textures will load after a small amount of time (this will prove this). There is something slowing your ability to load, try reducing some settings and see what works. I had similar with Syria for a while after it first came out, but several updates down the line when things are “polished” somewhat by the developer, it will improve. Syria now is extremely smooth for me. It’s still early days for the Germany map.

G.J.S replied to Thunder Chicken22's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
F-22 has a central receptacle, whereas the -23 s on the port upper side above the intake. -
Pretty sure I’ll purchase, it will be interesting to say the least. Somewhere waaaayy down the line, I would actually like to see a ‘H’ model (UK equivalent being the ‘K’). Good ‘ol’ steam gauge cockpit! Bring it on!
