  1. This is exactly what I've been talking about. Whatever is making those square pixels seems to also be responsible for the length and densely of the grass. I'm in favour of long lush grass scenery wide as the bare ground is way to low a resolution on its own in the Caucasus map. Comparison with default grass again. Hope this helps. Grass Test.miz
  2. Love how spring is looking! I agree with NRG-VAMPIRE and love a spring with reap seed yellows. The green brown and yellow contrasts are beautiful. I know its not 100% realistic for the area but perhaps we could have an optional field texture or 2?

  5. Hi Barhek I have a huge request for you? A lot of terrain mods kill off the grass making it look ugly and like 90's sim. Your Summer 2021 Beta unfortunately dose the same. I think the grass is controlled by the transparency of the alpha channel but I could be wrong? Could you please see if you could fix this? Thank you sir! Comparison with default terrain below:

  7. I'm trying to find authentic looking captured WW2 skins for the P-47 and Spitfire. If anybody knows of any about, could you please point me in the right direction. Thanks

  9. I can’t tell you what’s changed but everything seems more blended and refined since 2.7 on both sides of the channel. To me The Channel map is the most immersive map ED has ever made and the most realistic representation of colour tones and shading of the area it represents. It looks just magnificent in 2.7! While it’s meant to be out of early access now I doubt they are done with it yet. While Normandy is a fantastic map it now looks cartoonish especially in colouring of the terrain to me and I’ve not flown it since. The Channel map just makes me believe I’m really there.

  13. Flying out of beautiful Biggin Hill you are greeted with the ugly sight of the terrain abruptly ending. Can it not gradualy fade away like other maps? Russian made modern electric trains running on 1940's era British and French tracks.
  14. You can manipulate the cloud base of the lower layer with the altitude slider on all presets. If you select NOTHING you get the old cloud system back where you can set the density from 0 to 10, base and thickness of a single new style volumetric layer with high cirrus above. EG 10 gives you single layer overcast or 5 scattered with a base and thickness to your taste. Rain and Thunderstorm works too.

  17. Dose anybody know if the in game model viewer background be modified? I'm not a fan of the blurry 3D scene, it would be nice to change it to blue or something a little more uniform.

  19. I agree, this mod appears to be working as intended in 2.7. Phew!
