  1. Well somebody has been working hard on the flight model and dong a good job. Improvements I've noticed in the update. Everything just feels smoother, natural and more refined. Still sensitive in pitch as the MiG-29 is meant but seems not as aggressive and abrupt as before. I find it easer to trim straight and level. No more rocking as autopilot trys to find centre on the roll axis. You can now fly at 1500kph at 100 m off the deck and trim her to fly hands off! No more pushing the stick all the way forward to the stop to hold her there! Pitch seems to be less affected when you make changes to your throttle settings. As I mentioned before you can raise and lower your landing gear with with out that abrupt pitch up or down as it was before. Any one else notice these changes or is it just me imagining things? lol I'm absolutely loving this flight model! :D Probably one of the most convincing and enjoyable of any I've flown to date!
  2. Perhaps its just me but the trim seems to greatly improved on in the last update. Feels as if I'm able to make finer adjustments in both pitch and roll. Autopilot seems to find centre on roll axis at last now too.
  3. Maybe I'm just imagining it but the whole flight model feels slightly more refined. Also seems a lot easer to land too or maybe I am just getting better at it. :) It defiantly feels a little less pitch sensitive and the nose doesn't drop or rise as aggressively as it use to when the landing gear and flaps are raised or lowed.
  4. I replaced the "CanopyCommon" sound file with a blank oog file in the end as the constant looping was driving me mad. CanopyCommon.zip
  5. V1.18 is the best so far! The noise is too grainy V1.19.
  6. Possibly optimal or favourite hud settings for the pilot?
  7. Link should work now.
  8. Ok AxonImpulse, here's a link to Mustang's fix. I hope it works and I hope he wont mind me re uploading it. Remember its outdated and that's probably why its no longer available. https://www.dropbox.com/s/yay77kos23t345b/2.5.3_MiG-29_pit.zip?dl=0 Ive included an optional personal fix that I've been using that updates the fuel gauge, telepanel, rwr and canopy sealant to bring it in line with the current stock cockpit. To be clear its all ED's and Mustangs work and not mine! Interestingly the new panel flood lighting looks a lot nicer to the eye when using Mustang's textures. :)
  9. I have them but struggling to attach the file here for some reason... I preferred the way Mustang's pit looked. :) Would be great if he could work his magic on the current cockpit textures...………....umm hint. :music_whistling:
  10. Sorry, I was referring to the actual flap movement that has been updated in my last post and not the flap buttons in the cockpit. Thanks and sorry for any confusion. :)
  11. Found it, thanks
  12. I'm really enjoying the A-4, I cant stop flying it. :) I assume the external lights haven't been implemented yet as I cant get them to work? Is there a way to stop the constant looping canopy or flaps sound or at least an edit I can make to remove it all together?
  13. Anyone notice anything new in the cockpit since Wednesdays update? I cant seem to find anything.... These are not cockpit animations but I have noticed the flaps automaticity retract fully to 0% on their own now. They stopped at 10% before and you had hit the flaps up key to get them fully retracted. Also you get some shaking and buffeting when flaps are extended more than 10% above 500 kph that's a nice addition. :)
  14. I've just set up the A and copied it over too the S and G. Then just set up ECM on my controller for the S when I flew her.
  15. Wow this is lovely and very manoeuvrable little plane! I love it , thank you to all involved in making it.
  16. Yes I know it works in model viewer along with many other switches, lights and gauges. But we are only listing new animations that actually work in game here! Thanks never the less.
  17. Thanks :) What the video doesn't show you is the pile of wrecked MiG-29's at Eco Bay. That's one tough airstrip to learn to land at! I reckon that if you can land there you can land at any field in DCS.
  18. I've been practicing my landings at the shortest runways I could find. The plan was that if I could land safely and stop, then landing on the longer runways should be easer to do after that. Approach was as slow as I dared, aiming for the threshold to give my self as much room as possible for breaking and stop before I ran short of runway. All up weight for all 3 landings was around 12 000 kg in no wind. (No gun ammo, chaff, flares around 30% fuel and 0% curve on the pitch axis) Anyway I thought I would share it with you all. :)
  19. I also don’t use any curve on the pitch axis for the MiG-29 and it made the world of difference for me. Defiantly worth a try for anyone having trouble with pitch control during take off and landing.
  20. Thank you
  21. I'm not sure, hopfully there is a MiG-29 expert here who can tell us. Any one out there who knows? Is this animated in game? How do you see it work? This list is for new animations that are currently working in the sim.
  22. Ok I've not seen this animated in game though? What key command is this bound too?
  23. Thanks this works and has been added to the list. Do you mean the Navigation Control Panel? This is animated in the 3d model viewer but has not been implemented in game yet.
  24. Thanks guys I've added them to the list and a few more I've found. This is labelled “TRANSFM Fail” is this the same light you are referring too?
  25. Ahh I've just gone and posted something similar  I'm loving the little details and changes too.
