Can anybody help me adjust the haze using the atmosphere.hlsl file and possibly attach an example? I find the haze particularly bad on the Caucasus map since Mustangs mod stoped working.

I realise this is a very old post but I was wandering if anyone knows if these beautiful Helipads by DrummerNL were ever released? They are some of the best I've seen.

I have both versions, that's how I made the comparison video above. All DCS sound files have been locked away for a while now. You can only replace them with your own. Thanks for your help

I'm on about the default stock sound with no mods. I've yet to find a mod that had a typical double boom and was very pleased when it came with the stock sounds of the 2.7.9 update at the end of last year but sadly removed in a following update. “All aircraft generate two cones, at the nose and at the tail. They are usually of similar strength and the time interval between the two as they reach the ground is primarily dependent on the size of the aircraft and its altitude.” A quick comparison video just to show what I'm talking about. . . Love the previous double sonic boom.

I dont' think so? Unless thats a stock sounnd from 2.7.9.17830?
-
I much prefer the double boom that came with the 2.7.9.17830 update. The current sonic boom sounds smooth and blended but its only a single boom which is ok but we have lost the double boom that sounded beautiful especially at a distance. I want it back. Growling Sidewinder documented the double boom nicely in his Audio Update video. https://youtu.be/vWggV3kWr-w

Use X-56 C-Stick as CMS help? Hi, I've been trying to set up my C-Stick to be used as a hat switch to mimic the countermeasures switch by using bands but all my efforts have failed so far. First of all can this be done? If so could somebody help me with an idiots guide please? Thanks guys

Wow this worked a treat! Thanks Seems its not necessary to freeze the picture in most cases if you get it lined up in one sweep. What would the TMS forward function do in this radar mode in the real jet and the sim when its working?

Thanks for the link, yes its possibly the same thing? Lets hope its a bug and on the repair list.

GM Radar and GBU-31 Help? I've been leaning the air to ground radar and I'm having trouble with the GBU-31 landing way off target in most cases. When using a steerpoint or the TGP to create a SPI for the GBU I get a direct hit every time but it seems like I'm getting or creating an error when using the ground radar to designate the target. Anybody else having trouble or any advice? Clear picture showing a good return of and Il-76 parked on the ramp: Freeze and TMS up to create a SPI: GBU-31 within parameters: Bomb landing a long way off. I'm not expecting a pin point strike from a ground radar return but its not even landing on the ramp:

I’m pleased both the Banyan Tree and the Saipan Flame Tree have been modelled for this map.

No and I'm aware of all the work around. The pont of this post was to encourage and provid an incentive for upgraded FARP models. If that ever happens or if it doesn't is up to ED in their wisdom.
