  2. @Flappie Good news about the fix. Understood about the dirt over dirt. The shorter version with the wall at the back in pic 3 still looks way better to me but if thats what the devs want I’ll live with it.
  3. Losing fuel in any aircraft after taking rounds is very likely but not a certainty. In the DCS F-16 its guaranteed every time. What frustrating is how fast you lose the fuel! As Ive said before, losing all 7100Lbs in 1:40 seconds every time you take a hit seems a bit extreme. Dose the F-16 not have self sealing tanks?

  5. Yes you can with the hangar textures. They naturally wont exactly match Bartheks textures but having tried them and I think they look ok. Make sure you install them after you have installed Barthek's mod or they will get over written. Barthek's mod on top of CGTC mod or the other way round will mostly overwrite eachther and look wrong with miss matching textures unfortunatly.
  6. After investigating the caponir.EDM model in model viewer its seems its not septate hanger models but rather arg 10 that needs to be turned on or off for hanger size.

  9. I cant seem to get this to work since the 2.8 update. While in F11 view I used to press Z and the menu would pop up.
  10. Seems there are two versions of the new HAS being used with the larger one being to big causing them to overlap each other and cover access roads. The smaller HAS seems to only be used at Senaki-Kolkhi? WIP I hope? Many over laping in to each other like this. Crossing a road at Krymsk Smaller type at Senaki-Kolkhi
  11. This mod will not work with the new hangers that came with 2.8! You will get the missing texture replacement if you use it. I’m working on an update and will try to match the hardened shelters with the ground as best I can. WIP
  12. These trees have been absolutely superb from the very first version and keep getting better with every update. One thing that bothers me though is the repetitive pattern seen from high altitude. Usually from 30k and above. For some reason not seen with the default trees. Is there any way to improve this in a future update?
  13. Thanks for the replys guys. I would imagine punctured and damaged fuel tanks and lines to be extremely likely when taking AAA rounds. To me the fuel loss just seems extremely fast for a few holes? Losing all 7100Lbs in 1:40 seconds every time seems a bit extreme if you still have both your wings and tail on. If this is feasibly true to real life Ill happily accept it but if not I hope it gets adjusted soon.
  14. Hi Guys This is not yet a bug report, I'm just trying to find out how many others are experiencing this? Since a few patches back I'm finding that almost every time I take a hit from AAA I lose all my fuel with in 60 seconds. FWD goes first and then AFT. If I don't die instantly or lose a wing, loosing all my fuel seems to be the go to damage result from a AAA hit every time. AAA FuelFlow .trk
  15. +1 for what LucShep says! This is your best work yet and I love what you have done with the shadingOptions. That’s where the real magic is and gets rid of that Caucasus washed out look perfectly. The green of spring tiles and trees are the only things that spoil it for me. Swapping out the spring textures and trees for summer but keeping the fields could produce a lovely result.
  16. Can anybody help me adjust the haze using the atmosphere.hlsl file and possibly attach an example? I find the haze particularly bad on the Caucasus map since Mustangs mod stoped working.
  17. Runway lights in ATC Menu and ME please. A request made many times over the years. Menu item to ask ATC to turn on or off lighting regardless of the time of day and lighting condition's. ME option to set a particular airfield or global airfields on lighting on or off. Thanks for reading
  18. Having trouble getting this to work as no flight spawn when requested. Could somebody post a simple example mission so I can see how it works and where I'm going wrong please?   20. I have both versions, that's how I made the comparison video above. All DCS sound files have been locked away for a while now. You can only replace them with your own. Thanks for your help
  21. I'm on about the default stock sound with no mods. I've yet to find a mod that had a typical double boom and was very pleased when it came with the stock sounds of the 2.7.9 update at the end of last year but sadly removed in a following update. “All aircraft generate two cones, at the nose and at the tail. They are usually of similar strength and the time interval between the two as they reach the ground is primarily dependent on the size of the aircraft and its altitude.” A quick comparison video just to show what I'm talking about. . . Love the previous double sonic boom.

  23. I much prefer the double boom that came with the 2.7.9.17830 update. The current sonic boom sounds smooth and blended but its only a single boom which is ok but we have lost the double boom that sounded beautiful especially at a distance. I want it back.
