  1. For the laser warning receiver... -Red lights are threat bearing indicators. -Inner sqaure lights are the upper/lower hemisphere indicators, much like the SPO-15. -Red button on lower right will clear the display. - Upper of the two lower square lights is the indication the threat laser is in range finding mode and the lower light indicates the threat laser is in guidance mode.
  2. I just tested it on the deck and it works fine... another great use of this feature is to create havoc and damage prior to the player getting in the cockpit and I made a mission... a long time ago... where the player started in front of a hard shelter with a full on airbase attack going on with a lot of damage already having occured as he spooled the engines.
  3. The zoom in/out functions are working with TIR in Black Shark beta so it looks like you get it back. What I do in 1.12 to zoom in then reset like was mentioned.
  4. It might work if you use the "save state(.sav)" mission file instead of a normal ".mis" file. What you have to do is create a mission that has you on short final to land on the Kuznetsov, land, taxi to where you want to start, and configure the jet how you want it. Then hit "ESC" to quit and when the exit dialog box comes up click on "Save". This willl create a new file with a ".sav" tag. Next is to load the .sav file and you will start in the cockpit where you parked on the deck. The key for this is to delay the timing of all other mission events to start after you have landed and positioned on the deck. This works on the ground and I'm sure it will on the carrier.
  5. Eagle is interested in persuing this kind of support but most likely for the next project.
  6. Think about it... if Eagle didn't use any over the horizon logic for artillery and MLRS systems then using only line of sight would make them useless. Using EWR and or AWACS creates a scenario where the batteries would be firing on targets or areas where they have simulated spotters calling in coordinates, be it from air, ground, or sea.
  7. If you fire at too close of a range it will not guide properly... have you experienced this while firing from longer ranges like 3nm for the K and 6nm for the D?
  8. On a another note guys... is it possible to export the HDD/TVM/VSD image to a second monitor?
  9. Try it with the SAU Bereg coastal artillery system for a bigger punch and the Smerch also delivers good offshore bombardment. I also believe that if an AWACS is present you get the same results.
  10. The music I used is "One" by metallica.... so not even remotely close. :) I'll upload it for Eagle to see then they can decide but I wouldn't hold my breath!
  11. I'd love to show it to you but it's not up to me... sorry.
  12. I have a video of it!
  13. That's exactly what I did!
  14. I was able to get the upper and lower rotor blades to collide with each other while pulling off a high G mistake. :) Of course the rotors broke apart and I plumetted to the ground. The AFM is something else in Black Shark!!
  15. You will see a fully programmable flare dispensing system in the Ka-50, the UV-26, in Black Shark.
  16. Fudd means the stick in your hand(X-52/Cougar/name your stick) physically moves... I don't think that is available in any flight sim stick Fudd.
  17. Cool stuff Birdy!! Why do people use the term "Finals"? It's "Final" :)
  18. If people didn't care about statistics then these problems wouldn't exist online... too bad the online stats boards are bringing out the selfishness in some people.
  19. From my book: "Su-27 Flanker Story" by Andrei Fomin... Target designation angle +55 to -55 degrees for the R-27T and R-27ET. Great discussion guys!! :)
  20. Cool... Edmonton here!
  21. Aha! I had no idea... where?
  22. I'll make it easy... no one from Eagle Dymanics in Moscow participated in this thread... just Eagle beta team members and none from Russia. :) Me - Canada Alpha - Denmark Swingkid - Canada GGTharos - Canada Evibivol - USA Ironhand - USA D-Sythe - Canada Ice - Australia I hope I didn't forget anyone!
  23. What Russian ED staff who participated in this thread said the ET can't be maddogged?
