Where does it say that i bought a second hand module here? Why doesn't cost the mig just 15$ if its a second hand plane? That would be a good price to live with mods. And why is it the only module i HAVE TO use mods to get to the same standard? Honestly i don't care about wear and tear in the cockpit but the visibility out of the box is a joke. And no its not the same as tinted glass because you can still spot a black dot through tinted glass in the air.

Honestly do you really think that its ok to sell a product where the customer has to search the forums and user files to get a mod which brings the product to the same standard as every other available module? You would really buy a car with a cracked windshield which obstructs your visibility with the comment: "Look for other owners of the same vehicle they know how to fix it!" ???

I had only once an issue where the net and pipper disappeared during the flight. Worked from cold start till about 5-10mins flying the mission than it suddenly disappeared all together and i was not able to bring it back. But it only happened once for me and i was not able to reproduce it.

That could be possible since there were a couple of cases in one of the last open betas afaik.

latest open beta and new stable release version are the same for me at least. it just updated the updater on my side nothing else.

I had 2 cheap saitek sticks Cyborg and another one with integrated throttle, some of their buttons just broke and at a later point some pots died. After that i went for a x52 which served me like 4-5 years before some internal parts broke and pots went crazy on almost all axis. As soon as the throttle died on my x52 i needed a replacement and went for the thrustmaster 16000 set and i love it. The stick sensors are great and everything feels a bit more solid compared to the x52. You can also add the 3 buttons from the throttle to your modifiers list in the dcs controls section and triple the amount of buttons on your stick or double the amount of hat switches on the throttle itself. But if you have lots of money left i would go for a virpil or vkb stick with mfg crosswinds or the vkb pedals depending if you have a flight rig setup or if you just mount your hotas to a desk. The next stick i am going to buy is for sure something in vkb/virpil range if my gear doesn't break in a timeframe where i don't have any reserves left and i have to go for a cheap one again :)

+1, but for like 5$ or something, would be nice as a freemap but pretty useless to all the free2play users since u cannot use it with the su25t nor the tf51 ;) and right now there are just 7 modules which can be used on such a carrier based map. But if you would go for 2 little islands with an airfield it would make sense as a free gift for everybody.

I am working a lot in the evening right now so i haven't got the time to check it out but it will be for sure my favorite to join :)

Here is my first attempt for a clean cockpit but be aware i haven't tested it more than 10 minutes in free flight. I just used some images from Flankers mod and renamed or exported them so they fit. Its JSGME ready and uses the english cockpit slot, i haven't written a lua ("for now") so its just overwriting some stuff in the english and default cockpit. Here is the link for the mod, all credits go to Flanker. If there are some bugs feel free to inform me. You have to try it, it works on blueflag for me and a couple of others. And if the server administrator wants people flying the mig21 he/she has to enable it somehow because no one is flying with a disadvantage like the canopy glass. Gesendet von meinem Redmi Note 4 mit Tapatalk

+1 i am missing this gem of a server also, but i am not going back to foggy mig21 canopy on the stable release version.

You can also try to turn off msaa and just enable 1.5x ssaa helped a bit with my frames and looked a tad better on my rig.

Activate your fps counter with right CTRL+Pause and join the server, watch your fps when its stuck at 1-2 fps wait till the frames go up and running. After that try to select your slot. Could take sometimes like 10-15mins i think it depends on the mission and how many players are on the server but i am not sure about that.

That's a bad idea since ACG is based around WW2 combat aviation. We can be happy that Ironjockel is also interested in jet aircraft and the cold war setting. I don't know how many people fly on the stable cold war server now but before 2.5.1 there were like 20-30 people around almost every night. So maybe updating the existing one is a better solution.

I also uploaded my quickfix for a clearer glass to the userfiles if you haven't read my reply. I am also looking to get a complete clear glass without any scratches and maybe flankers clean cockpit mod working. Yeah i miss the server too, seems like most mig21 pilots updated to the beta to get rid of the cockpit fog.

Hi, i played around with the cockpit fix from Tetra and was able to get it working. Seems like a lot of people are looking for a fix so i will share mine here. It's JSGME ready so nobody will loose the original file. All credits go to Tetra for the original fix i just transformed his dds to tga, renamed it and made it working for jsgme. As we all know DCS started way back with the flanker back in 95/96 since then it evolved to dcs world like it is right now. Back in those days there were even less females interested in computer games and i think that's a big part why some of your "options" are not there today. It's the same for racing sims there are also no female driver models and still a lot of females are racing in those games. But DCS is a mod friendly platform you could also do something in that regard and bring up a female pilot model or get some friends and other female pilots together to record new voice overs for everything. Didn't work for me since i sometimes up my landings and i wasn't able to get the mig21 out of the grass even with a fuel load under 1000 and no weapons left except for around 60% guns ammunition.
