You wouldn't be able to race a dual clutch transmission with paddle shifters against a manual transmission car, since when you wanna race seriously you have to meet a set of regulations for the type of car and class you try to attend. It was between 1989 (first introduction of semi auto gearbox with paddle shifters in f1) and i think 1993 or 1994(where everybody was using paddle shifters and semi-/automatic gearboxes) the last time when paddle shifters raced against h-gated manual shifter cars. And as a soldier, as far as i know, you cannot choose your equipment and have to use what has been provided to you. ;) Racing is competition with an equal chance for everybody to win, within a given set of rules and marshals and race control watching every move of every driver during a race. War on the other side isn't a fair competition for every participant. ;) Make the best from what you've got. A motto for a lot of situations in life. :)

This product can be downloaded and installed through the DCS World Module Manager. If you do not have DCS World installed, you can download the DCS World web-installer by clicking this link. You need to have the "Open Beta" version DCS World 2.5 installed on your PC for this product.

At least there is a difference between a bailed pilot and a dead pilot since eeks burning skies server can differ that state in the statistics. But why should you be forced to wait longer or be punished, because you did a emergency landing somewhere? Where is the difference between an emergency landing because you were shot and not able to make it back and a bailout? In both cases the pilot is still alive and able to jump into another aircraft.

Thank you Heatblur for this amazing module. I was flying the BVR instant action again and was able to get both migs this time but not without being hit with an r60 from one of them. Suddenly hydraulics were gone, no afterburner available and my wings stuck somewhere in the back around 50°. As i approach most of my sims with the dying while trying mentality, i really wanted to make it back to the carrier. After a couple of kms a really loud banging noise almost freaked me out from the back of the aircraft, i thought i gonna explode every minute but i made it back to the carrier the nearly 300kms. As i tried to get into a pattern when i saw the carrier, i noticed my flaps, gears and wings were stuck. Shit i totally forgot about the hydraulics damage, as i also didn't really read the manual i had to read all those warning and emergency signs in the cockpit at 1200feet. Nearly dropped into the ocean while doing all the reading and clicking when suddenly jester decided to leave me alone. He got pretty scared around 200feet over the water and just left me alone, without a canopy. I finally managed to drop the emergency gear and hook and was on my way to the stennis. As i got pretty close i tried to activate DLC just to see that my wings are still around 50°. My heart was pumping like a jackhammer and it was my 2nd try to land on the carrier. I made it back, don't ask which wire because i nearly fell off the deck to the left side. Last time i was immersed like this was in 2009 or 2010 when i got the ka50 and was hit in a mission with a rotor tip missing :) but i didn't made it back. I can't wait to see more modules from your team as long as they are non-FBW. :) maybe i'll buy the FBW stuff from you anyway but i know it won't get much flight hours. 42mins in the f18 and around 1 hour in the m2000c, i just don't like how they feel while flying.

Haven't tried rio ejecting so far, but almost every time i eject my pilot gets killed and i am not dangling on the chute as usual, but i can see jester made it out safe. My funniest moment yesterday i got hit with an r60 from a mig29 in the bvr instant action mission and was damaged, but i kept saying to myself "i got this i'll make it out of here somehow". at around 300 to 400 feet jester just said "iam outta here good luck" and ejected :D Seems like he knew way before me that i wouldn't make it home safe. Great immersion :)

I am just doing instant action missions as free flight, dogfight and bvr at the moment and landed the bird every time successful except for the first time where i rolled of into the grass, cause i forgot to bind the nosewheel steering. I don't know if i got a much better pilot in the last couple of months, or the ai is set to easy, but it's quite easy for me to take down that su27 after a couple of turns i am right behind him and splash him. Was not able to win the bvr engagement so far against those 2 nasty mig29. :) The best thing for me is that its non-fbw. For me it feels like i have wasted to much money on the m2000c and the hornet since both feel to sterile to me. Once on a free flight with the f18, i went to the toilette, got me a drink from the fridge and returned 3-4 mins later so see the bird is still flying cause i forgot to hit the pause key. Was kinda surreal for me since i flew a lot of migs and su27/33.

Yeah thats the method where you overwrite original game files. Copy those 2 folders into your c:\users\your username\saved games\dcs openbeta\ But i think you have to do a repair first to get the original game files back before you are able to join on a server.

Seems to me you didn't install it into the saved games directory and instead you are using a mod manager, which will replace original files instead of using the ones installed into the saved games directory and that's why you don't pass the IC.

I own the PG map too, but i don't think that i ever will buy the nevada map. It's completely useless for me since i don't wanna do red flag missions at all. I can see the benefit of that map for some people who wanna do their training there like real us pilots, but for me its useless since i do most training missions just 1 time to get the sequence for a bomb/rocket/whatever weapon attack and the next training is gonna be a live target from the instant action or missions list.

Since its just a texture replacement it works without an allowance for anything like cockpit mods. I am using the mig21 clean canopy mod and also mustangs textures without any issues.

Our MiG-21 is a BIS and you would need a MiG-21-93 to be able to use r77 and r73. Since we don't have the avionics on the BIS I don't understand how you would be able to use these assets. I mean what's going to be the next request, p51 with aim9x? Gesendet von meinem Redmi Note 4 mit Tapatalk

No, because the server admin sets the settings. If you open multiplayer and look at the server settings you see game mode disabled on almost all servers. Doesn't matter what you set for your singleplayer game, the server makes the settings for the multiplayer environment. Same with unlimited fuel, ammo, labels, etc. ;)

I will miss those threads when the cat has finally arrived. I can't stop laughing about the interpretation and speculation of some users here. :) I think the only other bird which will get this attention will be the viper. But its a long way till those kind of threads will arise. :) Hopefully 3 more weeks of this fun right here :D

But you are not allowed to carry it in public and you need to get a weapons card for handguns. You will also get controls from local police that guns and ammunition is stored separately and safely. But you can get a decent amount of guns with turning 18. My favorite news report relating to guns was an accident of a guy who does shooting as a sport. A couple was laying in their bedroom watching tv when suddenly there was a big bang and the wall to the flat next door collapsed. Their neighbor was making his ammunition at home in his living room, when he noticed that all that gun powder smells quite bad he came up with the idea to light an aromatic candle to get rid of the smell. Fortunately nobody was injured.

My wirlesss edtracker had the problem of loosing connection from time to time, which resulted in stutters and jumps, but this issue was because of too many wlan signals around my flat. The usb dongle was like 1,5m away from the device and it didn't work that well. Thats why i switched to the trackhatpro device.

Yeah people already explained that it all comes with changes of fov. Just to give you an idea about fov, you would need a 75" screen 50cm in front of you to get a fov around 85 which should work quite well out of the box with every module. Than you would have a much bigger immersion and sitting inside a cockpit feeling. This gets better with using nvidias 3d thing, more screens or going directly for VR.

Wasn't my intention that you imply its dropping on this server as i know it's not gonna happen. But still it seems a lot of people have bought it, myself included and that it'll result in less populated servers without the f14 since everyone will take a look at the shiny new toy. :)
