  1. wow. This looks great! For the Mi8, there is already this: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2714257/ But I didn't check if it was working alright on 2.5.2, although Chizh was asking if they can integrate them into a 'DCS project' which I assume is Iranian assets for PG map.
  2. Good point ZMEY-HS-.
  3. Black Shark Den was able to rent a real 1968 UH-1H Huey for a flight and spend the day harassing the veterans pilots and mechanics of the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation with questions about this aircraft vs what we knew from the DCS module. We put together some of the videos we shot this day for you guys to benefit from some of the insight we got from the awesome day.

  5. if you have been flying for a while and kept your laser on most of the time, it is very likely that you burnt it.
  6. Ranger79 mod pack includes transportable humvee (cargo object). There should be a way to combine CTLD with the cargo.
  7. I assigned SRS shortcuts to switch between radios instead.
  8. I think there has always been issue with AI no matter the version. But I can be wrong. Over the last 10 years my wingman has always been a real person. :)
  9. Definitively Mi24 and AH1 before ANYTHING ELSE!! :) I'll buy at least a couple of licences for each of them ED! Keep up the good work!
  10. The datalink was fixed for the last patch. Are you sure your DCS is up to date?
  11. Pretty sure you are missing the throttle sequence Rephil. You know where to find help...
  12. Hi ambision, Your ThinkPad X1, although pretty cool, is an ultra portable if I remember well and as such is not exactly designed for heavy gaming. It doesn't matter much if you hook an external GPU up. You will be limited by your CPU, your RAM quantity (aim at 16Gb min) and possibly your SSD if you are using all DLC maps and many aircraft modules, and you are flying on both release and openbeta version. I have an intel Hades Canyon NUC8i7HVK with 32Gb RAM and a Samsung 960 Pro 1To and it is running DCS World 2.5.2 real smooth assuming you are using a monitor. For VR, well, it's not so great with DCS and I can't recommend it. Another option is to sell your thinkpad X1 and buy a Razer Blade laptop (2017 or 2018). I have a 2017 version and DCS runs without a glitch on it. It is incredibly powerful with its GTX1060 6Go and 7700HQ i7, looks gorgeous with its black aluminum body, is very thin and super easy to bring anywhere you want (and I am in the plane every 2 weeks).
  13. Generally speaking, the delta between the changelog posted on the forum and what has been really changed or corrected is significant and I can't figure out why. We always have to discover by ourselves or through others on the forum.
  14. Hey Devrim! You really want to use DCS-BIOS with your switch panel. Having the switches synchronized with your panel at all time is priceless. And being able to flip the entire circuit breaker overhead panel of the Mi8 with just 1 flip of a switch is awesome! For your next birthday, I can't recommend enough buying yourself the radio panel. A real game changer in MP + SRS or UR.
  15. Yeah but Qatar is definitively a Nogo according to Wags.
  16. Yeah but it usually stops after a couple of seconds once all textures are loaded, no?
  17. From a helicopter point of view, this map is already huge. Iran alone is already a very big area to fly.
  18. While we were talking to the pilots and mechanics, they confirmed the cyclic to be extremely sensitive. As they said, "if you think about turning, you already did". I am putting together all the videos of the discussions we had with those guys. It's a bit long, but there are tons of info to get.
  19. Same find at the small pond in Kerman city, east downtown.
  20. Hey you're welcome! Yes, we got some shots from inside the cockpit during the flight that I still have to edit. We were flying happily around 110kt with 2 pilots and BSD staff on board and we were nowhere close to max torque/EGT. The Huey's engine in DCS is usually blowing up at this speed.
  21. This fuel meter bug report brings me back years and years ago when the fuel meter behavior was changed this way to reflect the real thing (was it still BS1 or BS2?). What a mess it was on the forum for weeks about that! Good old times.
  22. Hope they'll consider Linux too. Just to avoid the cost of a Ms licence for a dedicated.
  23. Yeah, it's weird why they didn't extend on the same parallel the area in Armenia and Azerbaijan. Well, at least it's only elevation and lakes. I don't think there are any more towns/villages in this area so your work should be limited. But thanks! You can join the BSD Discord server if you want. We are flying sometime during the weekend afternoons to accommodate our Europeans pilots. You could have a spin with us.
