  1. Hi guys! Do you know how are those calculated in DCS 2.5? Are they consistent with the day/month/year the mission has been set or is it based on one particular year like in DCS 1? Can we use the IRL calculations to determine them and is the % Illumination consistent in game with what it is IRL? It is important for our NVG operations to define what will be this %illumination and setting up a date that match the required levels is kind of hit or miss. Thanks.
  2. Well, if it is the real information needed, there should be a way to get our hands on the Jeppesen (assuming they have those airports). What is needed regarding PG docs is what is actually in game, not IRL.
  3. Runs easy, along with 1 other monitor (the other 2 ones do not run DCS). 5760x1080 with two old 780Ti 3Go. Not full details though.
  4. Awesome job Captain! You're the man! Thank you!
  5. You nailed it Fargo. Thanks. Back to work in OpenBeta ME now.
  6. Crash in PG. Is it OK to edit mission in Release version and fly it in the openbeta? I just don't have time to wait for the Wed update. dcs.log-20180901-202608.zip
  7. That was, is and probably will always be the case on any map for DCS. You can't place statics inside the bunker/shelters in Caucasus (but you can for AI). You can't place statics underneath shelters in Nevada or PG.
  8. Wow! Beautiful!
  9. Note that this does not work with Occulus. Only Vive.
  10. Add you AI aircraft, click on it. Go to the triggered action tab and add the 'start' action (can't remember the category you can find this start action but just look for it). Very important thing: check the checkbox 'uncontrolled aircraft' otherwise your AI aircraft will start the moment you release the pause. Then, go to your trigger table in ME. Create a trigger with the condition of your choice. Then in the action column you choose to trigger AI action, and in the drop down menu of this action, choose the one you want (starting with name of unit /coma/ type of action which in your case going to be start).
  11. This thing is a simple 32 buttons 4 axis HID USB device for windows and it shows up immediately in the joystick configuration panel in Windows 10. The joystick can be used as an analog one, or when pressing the led lighted button on top of it, switch to directional keypad type joystick. To assign the keys, just go to the controllers configuration in DCS, find the column related to this controller and just start assigning. Same for the analog joystick. Workd perfectly in DCS and is ideal for the Gazelle weapon officer side.
  12. Guys, stop waiting and get yourself LotATC for 20 euros. It is an extremely realistic ATC simulation (assuming you push the realism sliders all the way), it is perfectly integrated into DCS and the server part is free. ED will never get close to this no matter how much effort they are willing to put into this, if they ever decide to go ahead which will never happen since LotATC have a 3rd party licence with them.
  13. Come on guys. No one for the two weeks joke? :)
  14. Would gave bought the basic baker option at 1,500. But no more slots.
  15. You ll be able to do that with the pz70 by assigning the relevant dcs bios controls to the rotary switch. The pz70 supports multi panel definitions so your rotary can do different things depending on the position of the left selector. What would make sense for example is to assign your rotary to HEading when your left selector is set on HDG, your hsi course when the selector is on CRS, etc. It is very straightforward to do.
  16. Exciting news Flappie. Yeah, I believe you about the rivers. When I am trying to create briefing maps from google earth and try to match them with in game, rivers are the least reliable landmarks to use. DCS Caucasus rivers are very different from IRL rivers. Roads will not be fun either to draw! Just thinking about Tbilissi road network only is scary!
  17. +1. Make sure you choose a day with no moon.
  18. Apparently, they had it worked for SP only which is a pity, but still, it is something.
  19. One of the holy grail of DCS mods for years! Choppers pilots have been crying for that. With the arrival of the Harrier, we (choppers pilots) got some hope that our plea will finally be heard. But it is apparently impossible. Polychop, during the Gazelle development, put this feature in the list, but it was removed at the last minute saying it was too complicated to implement.
  20. Just create as many different groups as you have players, no? So you can use sound to group and only one player can hear it.
  21. Awesome Captain!
  22. This is true not just for the Mi-8 but for other aircraft too. The anti collision of the Ka50 for example is acting like a red blinking panel light inside your cockpit. Really annoying.
  23. Wow, this is so exciting Captain! Thanks for checking. Not difficult for gifted guy like you man but this sounds kinda Chinese to me! :) Of course Mi-8 is the main target but we have 2D NS430 now available is most of the aircraft!
  24. You can fly on FSX or Xplane then jump to DCS once you want to be serious about v flying.
