  1. Yes, if you set the WCS switch to stby the radar will not transmit but the antenna will still move.
  2. Yes, in pulse the sparrow will use CW and have lesser range while the AIM-54 will just fly out along the radar line of sight until it find a target with its own seeker. The range of the AIM-54 in that mode is much less compared to in PD where it is also guided semi-actively.
  3. Check for throttle bindings to controls that shouldn't have them. I've had problems with TM MFDs having throttle binds as an example.
  4. If the TCS is slaved to radar STT the pipper will not be displayed, this was a late addition before EA release.
  5. RWS and the other PD modes do not have a set range, the range indicator should be blank.
  6. Correct, the LANTIRN only works with GBU's.
  7. It's not a warning light per se, if you have the datalink on and tuned to the boat it will be on regardless of autopilot mode. It's not really connected to the autopilot system but the datalink instead. Then when you're ready and set up for ACL it will extinguish as you enable that system.
  8. The centroid and automatic scan volume is not modelled yet, it will be implemented during EA.
  9. The E bracket isn't referenced to the TVV in the F-14, it's referenced to the aircraft wings symbol.
  10. It's not a bug, the PAL mode is a pulse mode so it can lock onto any distinct radar echo.
  11. It's correct, the GBU-10s can only be carried on station 3 and 6, the front ones and the GBU-24s must be carried diagonally.
  12. The VSL can be activated using the target designate switch up and down, forward (designate) activates PAL. The wing spoiler anti-skid feature is enabled using the anti-skid switch on the left vertical panel.
  13. You need to either just click the throttle to move them to idle or have a throttle like the warthog which has cutoff detents. The move from cut-off to IDLE isn't on the normal throttle range and if it was you could very easily turn off the engines by mistake by moving the throttles to 0.
  14. Yeah, we're aware of some sort of sound loading issue atm were the sounds take a while to load. It affects ground crew sound as well. We're looking into it and see how we can fix it.
  15. Sometimes the audio loading at the start of a mission takes a while, it's the same with the ground crew radio. We're trying to find out why this is. If you press exit and then fly again it will work straight away.
  16. Apparently it's not 100% atm that you rip your wings off. This will be patched so that while still being able to pull like this you'll always end up ripping your aircraft apart.
  17. what part are you stuck on?
  18. What part are you getting stuck on?
  19. Hi! Yeah, the hydraulic transfer switch and pump can be hard to reach with the guard up, either lean back or move your view back. We're looking at ways of solving this but it's due to the cover covering the switch too much currently.
  20. It's a DCS GUI error, not specific to the F-14. You can get around it by selecting your key/axis via the drop down option box instead of pressing/moving it.
  21. No such option at this time. Will be patched in later.
  22. Hi! The flaps can only be up or down, nothing inbetween. The animation being movable like that is a remainder from when we had it being stepless. We'll update the animation to reflect this in a patch. I'll ask the guys about keybinds for the kneeling.
  23. Hi! Check that your space bar is bound to "Trigger", the default keybind for it. It's needed due to how mission scripting works.
  24. Hi! You have to have Space bar bound to the default "Trigger" keybind in your controls, it's due to how the mission scripting works in DCS.
  25. The next option that you'll get on the wheel is after engine start when he eventuall wants to know what alignment quality you want.
