  1. As a data point for X56 owners; you would expect the above works, it does.
  2. Virpil has responded to my email: The mode selector button does indeed give you five modes with individual mapping. It WILL NOT include multiple modes for the stick at it's initial release but this is planned for a future software update which should apply to all versions. Appears to me that assuming they get the mini-stick on the throttle and the software update does indeed happen giving 5 modes across the full HOTAS this will become the most functional and adaptable setup available. This has just jumped to the top of my short list.
  3. I found a quote from them saying it can have 5 mappings on each switch and hat; you have to figure the 5 position mode switch controls that. No confirmation from them yet in response to my email.
  4. Dang was looking for that one myself... Facepalm moment. lol
  5. It's Christmas and we're playing with our new toys; human nature...
  6. I'm traveling; possibly making me the only person to try trapping with just a keyboard and mouse. Ended in what the airlines call an unscheduled water landing. :)
  7. @Cyph3r any consent on the 5 position mode selector? I've confirmed it's per mode mapping but not whether the stick is also per mode. I've got an email in; if they respond I'll post up.
  8. ED... You boys ever watch the intro to "The Wide World of Sports"? That dude blowing the long jump, that's you launching the F18 module.
  9. Yep, checking regularly. And "anticipation is building" slightly understates the case in the Crab household. If it were a building it would be the height of a certain tower in the UAE that's about to say get blownupified.
  10. Noon check= no joy. Fifty three minutes until 1300 check. Not that I'm anxious... O_o
  11. It's 1000 hours here, no hornet yet.
  12. Exactly what I'm trying to figure out, if those change mapping (per mode) this is a whole different beast. If those modes include the stick it becomes quite the tasty morsel, if it's just a label on a 5 way switch things didn't get so interesting after all.
  13. Thanks for that but I didn't see anything discussing the 5 mode selector switch unless the LEDs are switched there and 2 positions left unused.
  14. Been in the boat business for 35 years, I find in a world of people who can't tell left from right that port and starboard are a whole new level of facepalm. The fellow I was asking is also a boat person so I don't question whether he knows which is the pointy end, sometimes however port or starboard are used absolutely on objects which are set on the boat in various orientations which can themselves alone have a port and starboard side. It wouldn't make sense here but I wanted to verify.
  15. To be clear as the pilot sits in the cockpit port will be to his left and starboard to the right, correct?
  16. Early access is a common thing on steam with some games spending a year or more there, I think users get it just fine.
  17. I see the pictures on the site show a significantly changed throttle when compared to the one in the OP. What's the story on the mode switch?
  18. Harsh, the waiting I mean. O_o
  19. Actually for me it isn't about playing the game or the money to buy in, it's about Steam having a much better off-line mode. I work abroad in places where there is no internet access and then also travel often. Steam simply makes it easier to live with a game.
  20. I suppose I'm the opposite of most here. I would have loved to have known I could have paid more and got it on steam only 1 day later. I could give a crap about the sale and would have waited the day every time and paid more... if only I would have that option.
  21. An FYI as reported on another thread... It would seem Wags has his hands on a prototype of the upcoming TM F18 grip and has been using it for the last few days. The fact that he also said he is using the WH throttle would seem to dim the hope of a new throttle coming as well. Down in the input section for those that are interested... https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=209079&page=2
  22. Do they show up when added as an advanced command?
  23. Appreciate the update on your progress/status. I'm self-employed and spent most of my life running my own business so I know better than to presume to tell you what you should or shouldn't do with your business. I do have a suggestion to make however... Even a brief explanation of your current production and status goes a long way towards letting potential buyers know you're an ongoing concern. I'm not talking about a daily recap of minutia that would waste your time but rather an occasional and quick big picture update. What amounts to a few minutes once a week, every two weeks, whatever you feel works for you. It's something to consider if you're of a mind.
