Saggers launched by BMP-1s continued to guide after they were dead in a scenario I am playing around with. They are wire guided, once the launcher is destroyed they will go haywire. Usually into the ground where they detonate or flail around. Not sure, but I'd wager the TOWs do the same. Maybe just despawn them?

Is it possible to have an EW radar launch a fighter patrol based on it detecting a contact? I know scripts can do that but that gets above my head really quick, to quick to do on my own.

Requesting a triggerable action to show or hide the draw tool items on a map. Players often times need a little "help" finding the target and I'd like to have options to turn on and off different markers for them on the F10 map without using scripts. For me scripting is just a skill set I can not seem to develop. Thanks for reading.

If you’re using high digit Sams or something else similar and then uninstall it and run the mission you’ll get that. Dcs defaults to that ground vehicle when it doesn’t know what should be there. I’ve had that happen, just in case that makes sense. -
I logged in today and my joystick keeps jumping, sort of like it was unplugged. I checked windows, it does not show that happening, nor does the warthog software. I checked it again after a reboot in axis and it does not show any such behavior. Then I launched, got tooled up in MP and sure enough in the cockpit it did it in the mudhen. So I tried the viper, and even with the little bit of movement I can see it do it in there too. System has been stable for a very long time, and I didn't have any updates. Nothing changed install wise. Anyone have any ideas please? Figured it out. Thanks! The problem was a xbox style controller sitting on the shelf.

Danged thing is huge. But let me try with what you gave me when I get a chance. The names were pasted so they are good - and I went through them just in case. What action would count them to display? Not sure how to set that up and now I’m curious.

I’ve tried it with that, once, mission start, and the other one. The destruction triggers should they be once and the actual tallying trigger be switched?

My intent is to have a flag that counts so many targets that are killed (each time a group dead is registered, or a map object is destroyed the flag should increase by 1). Once that flag reaches x (in this case a value of five) then a message should appear. It works if I just set the value to five, but not if each target is destroyed. What could I be doing wrong? Thanks for the sanity check.

Two questions as I am spamming your wonderful material around the map. Wait... Three. 1. Is it ok to use on a MP mission? 2. Is there a diagram showing how things are meant to go together? 3. Is there an ability to add steam to some of the stacks - like have one with and one without to show an active plant or a dormant one? AWESOME work! The more I'm looking at it the more impressed I am. Thank you for sharing. -

I second this. Amazing work. Much better than doing it with existing facilities. I think things like this make airpower more than tank plinking like you see so much of on MP servers, we need more of it and more of it included with the game so players don't have to do mods. But man I am sure glad you are doing these. Thank you! -

When a command vehicle for a SAM site is destroyed what does that do to the SAM site? Can it be placed to far away? What if it is not placed as part of the group to begin with?

I tried and could not get the WWII sub to fire torps and the Xia sub isn't reliable. Helicopter mod wouldn't drop a torp on it, too bad. Missed opportunity for some eye candy.

I saw in the patch notes that ED had "Fixed inability for submarines to attack ships" but I put down a kilo and had it move to a wp and attack with torpedoes a surface target, and then had it move to another wp and attack without specifying torpedoes. Neither worked.

I did DCS… But DICE runs automatically - is there an executable? It’s been so long since I installed it and had no troubles I honestly forget because it’s worked seamlessly other than having to remind it in the setup after a new patch. -

I think the last update broke DICE. Is there something I need to do to make it work now? I used to just wiggle one of the sliders after an update and it was fine, now it does not change the program. I double checked and am using the right everything like before, the button hasn't changed or anything, but it is using the default programs. -

Hello all. I found this: Syria - Levant SAM Template (digitalcombatsimulator.com) and it is pretty cool and I was super excited because it had aa dispatcher and skynet built in. Problem is skynet doesn't work at all and I haven't figured out why. The other thing is I haven't figured out how to activate any of the AA Dispatcher stuff... Haven't dug into that yet. Anyone update the scripts by chance?
